LOVE These Silicone TONGS!
The colors and graduated sizes of these TONGS provide a fast way to select the one I want quickly. Installing them on Stainless Steel Command Hooks on the wall allows me to select them quickly and easily for use while cooking my vegan recipes! At first, I was disappointed because they did not all come in RED, but I've decided the assorted colors provide a fast selection choice while cooking. The silicone is NOT too hard nor too soft allowing for excellent dexterity when choosing to pick up items or toss with them. The top locking clamps work well and have a silicone ring as well. Chez Bettay, the VEGAN Gourmet gives these tongs a 5 STAR RATING!

I absolutely LOVE these HOT TARGET tongs! I bought them in less than a day after buying the Ninja Foodi, as the Foodi requires only nonstick tools. Once I began my search, it became clear that HOT TARGET tongs are very popular. And I did read several reviews and am happy to say I’ve joined the many highly satisfied customers now that I’ve owned them a couple of weeks.

First of all, the lock feature is not to be dismissed. It really does save space in the drawer, if you put them in a drawer as I do. But you CAN hang them if you’d like, as they also have the handy loop at the top.

Secondly, they are very nicely heat resistant.

They are also quite sturdy. Now, you can’t pick up really heavy items with the smallest of the 3 tongs but you wouldn’t normally do that anyway, just use the right tong for the right job.

I really like how easily they clean up as well. The pads are nice and thick, they don’t pull off the metal as you wash them, they stay right there.

The colors really are attractive, I will admit. When I first started reading reviews, I wondered why people were getting excited about the colors, but they are great and also functional, it’s pretty easy to see dirt/food up against the pads when washing them.

They have a good weight distribution, a good in-your-hand feel, as well.

And they are priced very reasonably.

These babies go perfectly with the Ninja Foodi and I assume any similar appliance that requires nonstick tongs!

I waited to leave a review for these, as I do with all tool type items, until I'd used them enough to be able to give an accurate review of them. That said, I feel like this is a really good set of silicone tipped tongs. They clean, lock, and unlock easily, the sizes are a nice mix, and the construction is sturdy but lightweight. For silicone tipped tongs, which I needed for my ceramic pans, these are the best I've found (especially for the price.) Like all silicone tongs, though, these don't give you a whole lot of grip on anything you're picking up - so you need to scoop one side under the item, like a spatula, and use the other side to pinch and brace it from the top. If you try to pick delicate items, like pot stickers, up from the sides, you'd have to use so much pressure to keep them from sliding out that you'd end up squishing them. But, as I mentioned before, that's the case with every single set of silicone tipped tongs I've owned - you just learn to use them differently than you do metal tongs. Highly recommend this set as a beginners set and wish the company offered them as individuals as well so that I can pick up another each of the small and medium sizes.

I bought this set for a much lower price than a single pair of tongs from any big box retailer. I haven't had much luck so far, so I figured it wasn't much of a gamble. Well, the gamble paid off. One of my biggest pet peeves is having the tongs spring open in the drawer, messing everything up. This hasn't happened. The locking mechanisms work really well in keeping them tidy while being stowed away. The silicone (?) tips of the tongs aren't as strong as others but totally fine. They are more flexible and not as brittle as other plastic tips. All in all, a good deal that will get you at least a few good months of use. Only time will tell if it goes from a good deal to an amazing deal.
