Customers are mixed about the length of the hardware tubing. Some mention it works as advertised, providing the reach you need. I hope that whomever is looking for a pressure washer extension takes the time time read all of this review based on my use of this over a few days.Additional things you will need.1. 7/8 wrenches to remove the and replace it with the supplied fitting to accept the standard pressure washer hose.2. Protective glasses to protect your eyes from water and debris spraying out.3. The belt to hold the extension, while its not perfect at some angles it does take the weight off holding the extensionRecommendations:1. Keep extension on about a 20 degree angle at most if you have the extension over say 9 feet, the longer you have it extended the harder it is to hold up.2. Work from the top down, moving across a entire wall, working in small patches if you have it extended beyond 12' you should work in a 2 to 3 foot area3. Once you have cleaned the about 2 to 3 down you need to decrease the extension by about 3 feet. As you decrease the length of the extension you can work in wide areas.4. Use a 20 degree or 40 degree tip.5. Spray soap on first at the top washing down.6. Work slow because the faster you move the harder it is to remain accurate in your side to side movement.7, Try to get the spray nozzle tight in one position so it is at a right angle to your wall.8. Do not try to use over roofs or flower beds on angles greater than 30 degrees, it gets real heavy and flops around a lot if the extension is over 12 feet.Things of noteWhile you need to take your time you are saving a lot of wasted time that you would be using for ladders of scaffolding. It does get easier to use with practiceAlways release the pressure before trying to loosen the pressure washer hose, then you can do it my hand without tools.Use softened water if you are on a well, as hard water will leave a film and or rust stains.
