About the author

A Canadian West Coast baby born and raised, Whitley is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have two beautiful daughters and a fluffy dog. She spends her days making food that gets thrown on the floor, vacuuming Cheerios out from under the couch and making sure that the dog food doesn’t end up in the air conditioner. But when the kids are at school and it’s not quite wine o’clock, Whitley sits down, avoids the pile of laundry on the couch, and writes.

Mark is a doctor and a single dad. He is out one night waiting for a friend when he overhears a group of women talking about celebrating one's recent divorce. He ends up going up to them and talking with them. He learns that the gorgeous woman they are celebrating is a special needs therapist which is exactly what he needs for his son. So, he tells her that its for a friend, so she won't think he is a creeper. Tori is stunned when she shows up for her interview and its Mark that answers the door. When he convinces her to stay and work with his son that it will work for all of them, she agrees. Things become complicated when Tori and Mark give in to their attraction. However real feeling become involved which leads to misunderstandings and cause Mark to ask Tori to leave. Can Mark find a way to give Tori a chance to explain? Will they get their second chance?
The two books are included in this book collection. This is a entertaining collection that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
