My girlfriend bought one of these from the T3 website and was really excited to try it out. I tried to install it today and the connector piece that attaches to the wall pipe broke off in my hand while I was tightening it. Turns out its made out of plastic. No tools involved....it just snapped off in my bare hand. Cheap junk.

Amazon delivered today, which was a day early, and right when I was about to jump in the shower. Easy installation and it came with plumbers tape. As far as the product, IT WORKS. Day one and my fine, Asian hair came out 95% less frizzy and that's air dried. I didn't have to use pump after pump of serum. The water didn't smell. My hair didn't feel weighed down. It came out soft and shiny and no sweaty smell after hanging out in the sun all day. No itchy scalp either. I'm sold. I've known about this product for years, I regret waiting this long to purchase.

My hair became more smooth and softer after wash with T3 filter installed. and skin not as dry as before after shower, which is a huge difference. it does leak from where T3 is connected to shower, but its acceptable to me cuz the leak may release some water pressure otherewise my shower water may not get hot!(we have one of those small electric water heaters). Overall its sth good to have.

This was recommend to me by the wife of a client who said it made a big difference in water quality and how her hair felt. My wife and I didn't notice any difference in our house with it. But the main reason for the 2 stars is since the housing is plastic it is very fragile. I tried to adjust my showered today and the inlet pipe cracked. The housing really should be metal.

So happy with the chlorine-free water. Shampoo and conditioner is much more effective. No more unpleasant stuffy chlorine odor from the water. My son, who has pretty bad allergies this time of year, has noticed a decrease in the severity of allergic symptoms since I put the shower filter in. Its true there are cheaper alternatives; however, those alternatives don't contain tourmaline (ie. no anion production). So far it works well. I had an issue with it when I first installed it...it was spewing water from the connection as well as from the filter chamber. I remembered what the reviews on amazon said and thought something was seriously wrong. Well, I had a feeling that I should reseat the filter, this time making sure not to tighten too hard (previously I was using a wrench to tighten) and sure enough, both leaks disappeared. My complaint with the product is that the aesthetics are not quite as nice as the picture. The print on the filter chamber (lower half where it looks like there are grids) is rather mediocre and not all that attractive.
