The color is "dark-pewter (blackish gray)" not "oil-rubbed-bronze" !
The color does not have the reddish brown tint as shown on the amazon page... It's SHINY METALLIC DARK GRAY, no hint of brown at all. Also, the narrowest space (between ball end of the hook and the round hook bends to become straight) is only 3/4" as shown in the photo. So you cannot just hung them on your existing shower rod unless the rod is 3/4" or less in diameter. You will have to remove the shower rod and the end piece to slide through these rings.One reviewer mentioned it broke off at the bottom, this is the area where the two piece is welded. I can see that could be a problem. Five sliding balls at the top is magnetic (which is not stainless steel as stated), so they could rust (the rest are not magnetic).They look sturdy for the price though. For those need the detailed measurements of the product, here they are:Overall height 3"Width between the ball end and hook 1-11/16"Width between the two ball ends at the bottom hooks 1-3/8"We renovated our bathroom with a tub/shower glass door enclosure but one of the glass door shattered! So we are going with fabric shower curtain to avoid future injury. I guess we will have to continue our search on shower rings...
