Finding her God proves easier than expected, and with his reintroduction to the world, comes opportunities and realizations that Eira, nor her men, ever thought possible.
Adapting to the life of a Princess of the realm, Eira sees what could be in her future, and hopes for the happiness she knows is there.
But Tanner isn’t keen on letting that happiness happen, not when he feels his own has been ripped from him. Ice court in the hands of anyone but him is not to be borne.
When the world spins on its axis, Eira will have to choose between what has always been, and what could be.

I liked the storyline of Eira finally gaining her independence and running her own life. The relationship with her father is now beautiful. So far, the most boring princess to date. The only thing that saved scared little Senara was her guards, besides that pile of weak chin, Chess. What bothered me to no end was victim mentality. Even up to the point of no return. So weak. No anger. No rage. Kept defending him after all that abuse. Feels like a slap to actual survivors of domestic abuse. Then, later in the book, they couldn't even describe what they did in front of her, which was nothing really. Because she's so fragile. So her power is her mind? (Besides this poison thing they left totally unresolved) But it''s that weak? What a let down for such a terrible character to be let off in such a manner. (Tanner) Also, the sex scenes in this series are the same. So you can skim those. Its the same exact t formula for each mini series within the series. So you know what you will get with small tweaks, yeah?

What a great mini series in this massive story line. I am happy to have found an author that keeps me wanting to continue through the rest of the series until the last one. There was only one scene in the book that I wish had slightly more detail over her interaction with an ex and her men but overall I loved it all. Finished it at 4 am when I couldn't sleep not knowing how it ended. Looking forward to the next princess!

I enjoyed the evolution of Eira's story. All her hard work is paying off. She gets to meet her God, whom is a perfect match for Ice Court. Her relationship with her father evolves. Her duties with Ice Court and as a princess of the Light Court of Faerie evolve. It is wonderful to have such a brilliant princess. I look forward to seeing how her councils and duties evolve with Faerie.
I am also looking forward to Riddle's story next!

Eira is all business in this last of the trilogy. She's worked hard all her life, literally since she was right out of the cradle her life has been about Light Court. Now she's making time for herself. She's found her god, Vasuki (you'll get to meet him), and her men are stepping up to make her life easier. Well...at least they are trying. It's hard to let go of things that mean so much to you, to let go of the control, but as our princesses do...she does. And it's only to her benefit. I liked the way our characters shifted to helping Eira, Vasuki makes it his mission to love his princess and Vice & Faust are all about loving. Our authors have given us what we needed, maybe not all that we wanted, but we still have at least one trilogy coming, if not two. I don't know where this duo will go without Light & Dark Courts to keep us entertained, but I am positive that we will get the stories we deserve.

I loved seeing Eira get everything she deserves! The interaction and growth throughout is wonderful and fascinating at the same time. I cannot wait to see what and who gets thrown at riddle as well as who the new houses will be. Brava, ladies!!!!

Another amazing book. I enjoyed Rita’s story and watching her grow into her role as the Ice Court princess and finding her guards. I can’t wait for the next books in the Light Court series and learn about the next princess and see more of the others. Definite must read!

Loved the way this story worked out. Eira’s men are badass and sexy as hell! Light court will rise and thrive with these 2 leading the way. Looking forward to more Nightmare Universe.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Ice Princess Gets Her God
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 6, 2021
I’d probably give this book 3.5 ⭐️ if I could.

This is the third book in continuing series which is part of a larger group of series. You need to start at square one, with Slumber, The Sleeping Court Series Book 1, to truly understand all the nuances of this series.

Eira, Faust and Vice are on the verge of finding Eira’s god, who will help gain powers for her Court and help them reconnect with Faerie properly. Finding him goes easier than expected, however waiting back home is a different kind of problem.

Eira’s ex-fiancé, Tanner, is up to something and won’t leave Eira alone. It also seems like Eira’s father is planning on making some changes to the way things are done. On top of all that she’s up to her eyeballs in legal briefs and having meetings for councils every time she tries to sit down. She’s still trying to make more time to spend on her men though as they provide her with love and self-belief.

It feels like a lot of little things happen in this book, but nothing huge, even if one of those little things is gaining a god. Everything is handled in a matter-of-fact way, even when things go wrong. The prevailing emotion of this book is happiness. It removes a sense of drama from the book, even when bad things happen, because everyone is always so happy, it can’t help but be fixed easily.

I still enjoyed the book, but it wasn’t as gripping as it normally is. I imagine this is a book where things change direction and important things come of the back of it. This is the problems with big series, you end up with books that have to achieve a lot in a short amount of time and sometimes the emotion and the drama gets lost in the plotting. I’ll still read the next one though. I can’t walk away from all these characters, it’s like a soap opera!
