Product Description
Color Me Keto Premium Allulose is the great-tasting sweetening option that provides the full taste and enjoyment of sugar, without all the calories. It provides bulking and sweetness in food products while reducing calories, and therefore it can be used in many applications that conventionally employ nutritive and non-nutritive sweeteners.
Allulose was first identified in the 1930s and has since been found in foods such as figs, raisins and maple syrup. It offers the uncompromised taste and mouthfeel of sugar, without all the calories or glycemic impact. Allulose also behaves like sugar in a variety of applications, making formulation easier for food and beverage manufacturers.

There are a few cons. It is quite expensive, but in comparing CMK with other brands, ounce for ounce CMK is really competitively priced. It's also nice that it comes in a two-pack. It does clump a bit in the bag, as others have mentioned; however, the clumps are easily broken up and are not too bothersome. Additionally, I read on several health websites before purchasing it that there are potential negative side effects--bloating, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, but that is only when consuming large doses. I haven't experienced any of these. Overall, it's a great product, and I will be purchasing it again!
Before, I wouldn't tolerate for a moment a sugar substitute, but this one fools me pretty well. It's doesn't have the syrupy body that sugar does, but you can't have everything. Like other posters here though, I find I have to use about twice the volume compared to normal sugar. In a 16oz mug of (very) strong whole-leaf tea I would normally add 2 tablespoons of sugar. (Yes, forgive me.) But with this sweetener I have to use about 4 tablespoons to achieve the same sweetness.
I was worried about crossing the line where I would experience digestive issues, and did a little research. Turns out, the recommended limit for allulose occurs at 0.9g per kg of body weight. Let's get all of the metric out of the way. For example, I weigh 142 lbs, so I should have no more than 13.8 teaspoons (or 4.6 tablespoons) of this per day. (This calculation is based on 4.2g per teaspoon.)
So to simplify, just take your body weight in lbs and divide by 10 to approximate the max number of teaspoons you can have per day.
