Fraud (Antihero Inferno Book 2) Kindle Edition
Fraud.
Also known as Gabriel Dane.
He is a ray of sunshine that warms your heart with kind eyes and a dazzling smile.
Don’t let him fool you with that silver tongue or lure you in with a body that draws every woman’s eye.
This man is fluent in deception and a devil who only offers pretty lies.
Gabriel is my old nemesis.
I'm the girl that always fought back.
He has every reason to hate me as much as I hate him.
Now that he found me, he’s determined to make me pay for our past.
Except, there are two small details Gabriel doesn’t know that will be his ultimate downfall:
There are no rules when it comes to our war.
And I've learned to lie just as good as him.

This is the worst and best feeling in a readers life when a book just keeps you hanging for so many questions to be answered.
In this book we meet the God of manipulation and lies Gabriel Dane aka Fraud. His mega sinful yet heartfelt smile will stop your heart, just by one glimpse but his tenacity to keep fighting for a woman ( Ivy) that means a lot more to him than his willing to admit is what has won me over to his sinful, fraudulent ways.
Ivy is not a sweet and meek heroine. She meets Gabriel and every turn and gives as good as she gets in this game but what is on the surface is not what’s felt deep within their hearts. They are a match made in heaven and your heart will break as you get to the bottom of some questions but your still unravelling with more questions that just grip you by the throat.
Get ready for your next Netflix sensation, it’s supercharged with angst, lies and deceit, the perfect thrilling blockbuster!
Rating 5 Stars
Fraud is the second full length novel in Lily Whites Antihero Inferno interconnected series - so I recommend reading them in order. This is spoken in the hero and heroines perspective.
Gabriel and Ivy were fantastic! An enemies to lovers romance packed with twists and turns, so many funny moments that had me laughing like crazy and a whole bunch of sexiness that burned up my kindle.
I can't even express how much I loved this book. Every single thing I read from Lily is always a new favourite. I'm quickly becoming obsessed with this series and I can't wait for more.

“Instead of our fairytale beginning with Once upon a time, it was dipped in misery and spun through with lies. A broken prince. The spoiled princess.”
There’s a history between these two - since they were children they have sought to challenge and defeat each other in pranks and tricks in a war that neither of them are quite sure whether they want to win or lose! The pranks they pull and the way they outwit each other makes for entertaining reading and I found myself laughing out loud at their antics! 10 years after highschool, the game restarts.
Are these “hate” mind games however, all that they seem? Is it possible that they are merely hiding behind their fortress walls from the one person who has the power to bring their carefully constructed facade crashing to the ground? And when the mighty crash happens.... damn does it happen 🔥🔥 There is a fine line between love and hate .... and these two struggle to know where the line even is anymore. These two give you all the feels - you’ll laugh, cry, smile, laugh again, get frustrated, swoon, fan yourself with their ridiculously HOT chemistry and sigh... while wondering how they can possibly meet in the middle without causing utter chaos....
“I can feel more of the mask fracture, can feel the earth shake because that’s what happens when we come together. We’re destruction and devastation. Opposing forces that bring about storms.”
The backstory of the Inferno group continues to heighten in this book, with twists and turns that leave you guessing and speechless. The camaraderie between this “family” and their interactions are a solid backbone that keep you reading until the very last page and then waiting for the next book, hoping that they can achieve the freedom and retribution they so deserve. The author has weaved an amazingly intriguing and suspenseful plot line that leaves you counting the days until you know more.... This series will be in my top reads.
Bring on Ezra and the Seventh Circle! ❤️

I love Ivy so much. The strength, the sass, and the pranks had me so infatuated. I’m dying laughing one moment and then straight up yelling the next. Ivy might be my new favorite female character.
Gabriel has been my favorite character ever since he came into the very first story. I have been in love with him and I knew his story was going to be good and sure enough, it was amazing. This man is a jokester just like Ivy but he’s also a fraud. He has this tough exterior shell but inside he’s soft and I was loving every moment of his undoing. I just want to be Ivy for real.
Lily White knows exactly how to write a book. I have been sucked into this series since the very moment I started and now I’m chomping at the bits to finish this review so I can read the next one. I know I’ve got to prepare myself for emotional damage because I know Emily, Ezra, and Damon are about to break my heart.

I loved their pranks on each other and the pranks with Tanner! I adore Ivy she is a match made in Heaven for Gabriel, they keep each other on their toes

It's one of my fav novels written by Lily White cause it has a trope i love, aka enemies to lovers, portrayed in the best way.
Gabriel and Ivy were enemies in high school, they hated each other and pranked each other like there's no tomorrow. The thing I love about this book is that the main characters are equal.
Gabriel is bad and he tries his best to hurt her but Ivy, my girl, she's a tough opponent, she strikes as hard. And I loved the transformation from enemies to ally. The banter, the jokes, the steamy scenes, everything was written to make us see how they felt and feel for each other.
My only complain is that I would have liked more pages for Gabe's groveling and maybe the end was to abrut, but this is a series so not everything could be resolved here

If you don't love Ivy then you're not welcome on my team. If they didn't have some incredible issues of their own, I could be quite jealous of Ava and Emily for getting to be her besties. Ivy shines like a star, dazzling those around her and casting light into the shadows, where it's not always welcome. Where Luca was strong in an almost foolhardy and naive way, Ivy's strength is in her very ability to hide in the spotlight, keep a gameface, and lie as good as, if not better than, Fraud himself.
Talking of Gabe, he was a worth adversary to Ivy but was never going to beat the Queen of Deception. Oh he liked to think he had the upper hand, in fact he was allowed to believe that for such a long time, but then men always mistakenly believe that females are the weaker sex. This pair are so well matched, so absolutely perfect for one another and so amazing together, despite the lightning strikes and storms that occur when they are in close proximity - literally. You can feel the air crackling with tension and static electricity when they are in the same room. When they're alone together - well just make sure you read this somewhere 'safe' because the word 'hot' doesn't even come close to describing the heat and chemistry between Ivy and Gabe. They weren't the only ones sweating!
Whilst I liked Tanner and loved Luca, their story didn't draw me in the way Gabe and Ivy's did. I could, and did, step away from that one. This book I couldn't put down, well I did at 1 am but only because I had to be up at 7 for work. It felt as though Lily might have taken on board comments made about Treachery, though perhaps she already had those explanations planned. It doesn't matter the how or why, just the fact that in this book I believed in the circle, their fight and their reasons more. I also really enjoyed seeing Tanner get his ass handed to him, that guy still rubs me wrong at times, though he does help Ivy so he's forgiven, maybe.
This story felt as though it continually moved forward, little secrets and truths slowly revealed, new mysteries unearthed. Just the right speed to keep the tension humming, to drive the pace onwards, to hold me spellbound.
We kept hearing about the 'event' that caused Ivy to ask Tanner for a favour. I'll be honest and say that I almost expected to be disappointed by it. Just what could have been so bad but also 'fixable'. Too many times other authors have set up the same premise of a secret, have built the anticipation and have fallen flat at the last hurdle by revealing a ridiculous, an unbelievable and/or a secret so pathetic it ruins the book. I should never have doubted Lily White's ability to pull this off. She is, after all, the Queen of the Plot Twist, surprising us at every turn, pulling the rug out from under out feet and twisting the twist. Just remember this book isn't called Fraud for Gabe alone. it takes a liar to know a liar and to fool a liar.

This book, again sooo wordy yet so many many scenes had me full on laughing out loud!!!! These two are exceptionally hilarious and yes their love for each other is quite obvious. The constant teasing, taunting, chasing and pranks.......and what they do to Tanner... It’s good. As they say, all comedians make jokes to cover their own pain and Gabe is no different. We get more answers in this long winded yet decent story in the series. The one I’m personally dying to know about is who really is Everly and where did she go?? Guess we have to keep reading to find out
