Does not truly fast charge an iPhone XR

This doesn't fast charge an iPhone XR. It charges it faster at a slightly faster pace than Apples own 5W charger but this does not give you the second ding when charging the phone. Don't get this if you expect to get Apple's fast charging. Severely disappointed.

I've only had this for a day but it is doing exactly what I want so far. Rapid charges a Pixel 3a, it's small, lightweight, has a light indicating it has power, and the plug folds away for storage/transport.

This is a perfect second charger to keep in my daypack so I have something on the go and can keep the main charger in its usual place at home.

I will update the review if it breaks, stops charging rapidly, or fries my phone but assuming none of that happens and it continues to work as it does currently it's a 5 star charger.

Note, the blue light might be annoying if this is going to be your only charger, you don't like lights in your bedroom, and you plan to charge your phone beside your bed. Anker has a version without a light which might be preferable in that case.

For the past year i have been using an old usb 3.0 plug with a type C adapter. that adapter was just 5W and took too long to charge the 4000 mha battery in the one phone. most of the type C adapters i saw here were priced basically the same. so i narrowed down the field by power output, manufacturer and of course posted reviews.

the adapter on arrival looked good. feels solid in the hand, not flimsy at all. when i ordered it i didn't know the electric prongs folded out, a nice little bonus. as for size it is only a little larger than a typical low wattage e.g. 5W adapter similar to those that ship with echo devices. there is no cabling including not that i expected any for the price.

the C cable fits snug, not loose at all. as for charging time i have one 15W micro usb adapter that came with my old moto G6+ and for comparison it charges at a very similar rate. some have called this a 'fast charger' but it is only 15W, so faster than most stock adapters but not fast as with a 25W-50W rapid charger.

all in all i am very happy with this power supply. it is well made, priced reasonably and works just as expected. i can easily recommend this adapter.

I liked this charger so much, I've bought it 3 times. Unfortunately the first time it was stolen, but when it came to replacing it I just bought 2 more. I'm really satisfied with it's capacity, it fast charges my phone and even has enough power to charge my Nintendo Switch. I use it in combo with the JSAUX USB C to C Fast Charging Cable. I like that the light lets me know when it is getting power and charging, but the only downside to this product is if it I have it plugged in my room at night, the blue light can be a little bright if you're facing it. I placed it somewhere where the light gets blocked by the nightstand and it's fine, but if you're sensitive to light while you sleep keep that in mind.

Love this charger for my Switch on the go. It's small compact and the fact that the prongs fold up makes it perfect. Doesn't charge as fast a Nintendo charger but it works well enough. A must buy if you dont want to carry the brick of a nintendo charger around and have the patience to give the Switch 5 minutes of downtime to charge.

Fast Charging Does Not Work

I have an LG G6. This charger notes support for fast charging via USB-C PD (Power Delivery). When I plug my LG G6 into this charger it does not utilize fast charging. I have other USB-C PD chargers which work just fine with the same cables. Buyer beware that this device does not fully function as advertised.

EDIT: I've updated my review 1 star to reflect the quality customer service that Anker provided me. They contacted me after I posted this review and offered me a product that would fast charge my LG G6 free of charge. While it is USB-A instead of USB-C, it shows that they care about their products and reputation. I still feel the product page is slightly misleading. If I find that they've updated the description to be more clear about what phones do support fast charge with this device, I will update my review accordingly.

EDIT2: The seller updated the product page to reflect that the LG G6 will not quick charge with this charger. Additionally, they removed LG from the product title. Because of this I've increased the rating of the product an additional star. The manufacturer does seem to care about their product and their customers.
