Wow!! .66lbs of perfection
Ok after being disappointed by other budget carbon poles failing and slipping down while running (telescoping poles) I knew it was time to upgrade. Wish I did it earlier, these featherweight fixed poles are perfect! The cable inside is plastic coated so it doesn’t rattle inside like other brands do. They make my adventures much more enjoyable. I’m a 5’9” 170lb male and bought the 120cm.Pros:-.66lbs/300grams!!! (120 cm)-super quick and easy set up/fold up-no slippage due to fixed length-comfortable foam grip-grip is ventilated-grip extends for holding lower on climbs-basket attaches to pole when folded-adjustable straps-plastic coated cable-come with Velcro wrap-look awesome-work well with BD trekker and Mont Blanc gloves-two different tips included-confidence inspiring fixed sizeCons:-NONEUpdate: 1 year in now and I've used them at least three times a week in all 4 New England Seasons, hikes, a thru hike, trail runs in rain, mud, snow, dirt and lots of leaves. They never disappoint!! So glad I treated myself to these.

3.0 out of 5 stars Strap broke on third hike
Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2020
Unfortunately the wrist strap broke on my third hike.

I also found the pole sections to come apart sometimes while hiking. This would happen if the pole got stuck in rocks and you had to pull it out a little bit. (The sections wouldn't slide out completely, maybe just a quarter inch, but it was a bit annoying.)

I general I think it's worth considering a pole that has adjustable height so you can have one height for going up in another height for going down.

Hopefully Amazon or Black Diamond will take care of the broken strap for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Leggeri, pratici e resistenti.
Reviewed in Italy on September 21, 2020
