  • ️ For this, Glorious PC Gaming Race also provides the right tool.Enclosed are both a Keycap and a Switch Puller with which all 62 buttons of the GMMK Compact can be completely replaced in less than 20 minutes. Otherwise, the keyboard is extremely high quality processed. A chic bezel made of black anodized aluminum not only gives the keyboard a classy appearance, but also ensures high stability in the heat of the battle.
  • ️ Of course, the Glorious PC Gaming Race brings GMMK Compact all the comfort of a professional keyboard, such as full anti ghosting with N Key rollover via USB , in which no key entries are lost, no matter how many are pressed simultaneously. In order not to suddenly sit in front of the bright Windows desktop during the battle, the Windows key can be deactivated. The keyboard is connected via USB 2.0 and the completely modular, about 180 cm long cable with the textile cover .
  • ️ The RGB lighting including 18 effects can be activated by key combination and individually configured and saved in a profile. Optionally, you can use the enclosed software. Special drivers are not needed, the GMMK Compact works well on Mac OS X and Linux.

    I was looking for something inexpensive for my first custom build.
    It took the tape (I used masking tape on the back of the board) and foam (I used some unused 2mm foam underlay) mod with ease.
    The build quality is pretty good, nice and sturdy, the finish is stylish yet understated.
    It does require its own app to control the RGB (I tried openRGB, ut it didnt find it), which can be downloaded from the link on the quick start card, but its really easy to use and once you've set it up, it doesn't need to be running all the time!

    I have been switching out keyboards every few months for a couple of years now and can never quite find the 'perfect' keyboard for me. I decided to go the whole hog in the end and build one to match my requirements and this barebones ISO layout is the perfect starting point. It is very solidly built, heavy enough but not too heavy, USB-C connectivity, adjustable feet to raise the board if desired and excellent RGB. I installed a combination of Gateron Brown switches (quiet, non-clicky with a really positive feel) and Akko Jelly Pink switches for function keys which give a slightly different but very positive feedback. Finished off with the keycaps from a Cooler Master SK652 keyboard which are low profile and have a very clear and backlit font. The SK652 is a fabulous keyboard but just too big (there isn't a TKL version available unfortunately) so by utilising the keycaps from this keyboard I feel I am still paying homage to this excellent board :-). I now have what I would consider the closest to perfect keyboard I could hope for (and I have used MANY over the last 15 years!) and all this is made possible by the fantastic GMMK TKL ISO base!

    Come da titolo, sono riuscito ad acquistarla da Warehouse a praticamente metà del prezzo da nuova.
    E per questa cifra, è meravigliosa.
    Solida, massiccia, ed anche elegante, parlando del lato estetico. Ed ha il layout ISO, caratteristica rara e spesso ricercata, da chi come me ha sempre usato tastiere caratterizzate dalla forma del copritasto Invio "ad L rovesciata", e non a parallelepipedo, come da layout ANSI/internazionale.

    Supporta switch a 3 pin, quindi nel caso doveste avere quelli a 5 pin, vanno tagliate le due "gambine" di plastica presenti al di sotto di ogni switch (lasciando ovviamente intatti i due pin sottili metallici e quello tondo di plastica, centrale).
    Stabilizzatori montati su piastra pre-lubrificati di fabbrica, e non in maniera eccessiva, come afferma qualcuno.

    Uniche pecche che posso rimproverarle sono l'impossibilità di modificare le funzioni hotkeys assegnate a "FN"+ i tasti che vanno da F1 ad F12 (comunque presenti e comode già di loro), ed un software (di installazione ovviamente opzionale) che non permette una ampia personalizzazione degli effetti RGB, così come per le macro. In questo, ad esempio, la Oversteel TITANIUM ed il suo software e firmware, che ho posseduto ed usato prima di questa GMMK, sono avanti anni luce.

    Leggo e sento troppe persone sminuire sia l'azienda, sia i suoi prodotti. Ma se magari è vero che la versione "PRO", erede di questa, possa presentare alcuni problemi, questa, la GMMK normale/base, è
    estranea a tutti i problemi della sorella maggiore PRO.

    Quindi, a prezzo pieno, o meglio ancora a decine di euro in meno, da Warehouse, la consiglierei sempre e comunque a chi si sia approcciato da poco o si stia approcciando con interesse al mondo delle tastiere meccaniche (IMPORTANTE: evitate di farlo. È tipo un buco nero, in cui vi addentrate sempre più, inconsapevolmente ed inesorabilmente)

    If you are looking for a hot swap keyboard with solid quality then this is an excellent choice without breaking the bank or needing to build your own from scratch from globally sourced parts!

    LEDs are bright enough for what I want and need. The software is a little lacking in terms of customisation but nothing that AutoHotKey cannot fix.

    It feels solid, heavy and was the quality I was hoping it would be when it arrived well packaged and with lots of accessories.

    Your typing experience will vary greatly on the choice of your switch and keycap but either way this is an excellent way into getting into mechanical keyboards. The compact size of 60% saves lots of space on a desk and once you get used to the hot keys for various shortcuts it feels natural.
