From New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes a second chance stand alone novel in her beloved Big Sky Series…

Max Hull left Cunningham Falls a long time ago. Thanks to his killer instincts and business smarts, he’s come back to town richer than anyone’s wildest imagination. Now he’s closer to his family, living in his dream home, and at the top of his career—it sure looks like he has it all. All but one thing. And she’s not interested.

Willa Monroe and Max were childhood sweethearts. She daydreamed about their wedding day and named their children, but Max’s dreams were bigger than her. After high school, he left her behind without another word. Now, Willa is a single mother and a successful business owner, and the heartbreak of losing Max was a very long time ago. She’s moved on. But when he walks into her shop and back into her life, suddenly it feels like no time has passed at all. He’s as handsome as ever, and more charming than she remembered.

Once he makes friends with her son and turns his attention on her, how long will she be able to resist him? And does she really want to? Sometimes you do get a second chance at first love.

Waiting on Willa by Kristen Proby is 5 star Top Pick of 2019......Yes I am staying that in February... but I loved, love this one. It is a true is a MUST CLICK...Ms Proby delivers pure romance and passion and deep emotions and well just WOW all the way aroundI am going to write this review revealing NOTHING more than the blurb because TRUST me... you are going to want to live this story as Ms Proby masterfully tells it!I will say this book is likely best appreciated after reading Charming Hannah and Kissing Jenna because there is some great tension between Max and Willa that has the reader WANTING more about them and their past (oh because yes this is a second chance romance)There is a history between Max and Willa we know NOTHING of the how or why other than they dated prior.Max isn't so much more than a self-made wealthy man ...... this is NOT a book about a millionaire swooping into save the day or wooing a woman with his money. This is a man opening his heart to single mom who is a small business owner. His gestures are about making her life easier and ensuring she knows he wants to be apart of the life her and Alex (her son) have made for themselves in Cunningham Falls.Ms. Proby THANK YOU for writing adults who behave like adults no childish games no unnecessary drama. This is a story about two people (ok well maybe three since Alex Willa's son is as it should be an integral part of this story) make LOVE 💗 work!Waiting for Willa was everything I hoped for an then some ... Max oh MAX....Ms. Proby bravoI hope we get so much more of this town and the characters who feel so much like coming homeps I hope Sebastian hangs around Cunningham Falls and that we get a story for him soon!pss Take the time to read the author bio in this one.. it is a great lesson about life and chasing your dreams!

I LOVE this series!!! I think Waiting For Willa is my favorite of The Big Sky books.

This story sucked me in right from the beginning. After reading the Prologue I knew this story was going to pull at my heart strings. And it did, but I also found comedy between the characters, lots of love and some great steam ;)

Kristen Proby will always be a favorite author of mine to read. I have LOVED every book I have read. Her writing style just works for me. I love how she gets right into the story and doesn’t have a lot of filler or excess drama. Her stories are what I turn to when I want a swoony Hero and a romantic love story. I also know when I finish I will have a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart.

Waiting For Willa is no different. This book had everything I expect from a Kristen Proby novel. This book is the third in her Big Sky Series. This story is a standalone but it is interconnected with the other two books in this series. I would recommend reading this series in order. It is told in Dual POV. The pace and flow of this story was great. Some may say this is an insta love story, but truly it isn’t. Max and Willa have known each other all their lives.

In this second chance at romance story we follow Willa and Max. Max is the brother of Jenna and Brad (from the first two books) He is a wealthy man who has come back to live in Cunningham Falls. Willa is a single mom who owns her own boutique in Cunningham Falls and has suffered a tragedy and is scared to move forward. Max and Willa were high school sweethearts and thought they had their lives planned out. That is until they wanted different things and Max chose to leave to chance his dreams. Now being back home for the past 5 years, they realize they need to move passed the past. Can Max and Willa find their HEA?? Can they move on from the past and learn to love each other again?? Read this sweet and sexy love story to find out.

I loved seeing all of the other characters from the other books. It is nice to see where they have all gone after their stories ended. This is such a close nit group of friends I feel like I am a part of their lives every time I read one of these books.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is a Kristen Proby fan. Also if you are a fan of romantic and heartfelt love stories with a totally swoony Hero, this is one you will want to read!!!! You’ll be left with a HUGE smile on your face :)

This author always delivers exceptional stories with interesting characters and great storylines. This story was good, but not one of my favorites by this author. The story was predictable and I found myself skipping through it, which I normally never do with this author's stories. There wasn't anything suspenseful in this story and the romance between the characters wasn't exciting like she normally writes. I wanted to love this, but didn't, but I will continue to read this author's stories because of her style of writing.

Another great read from Kristen Proby! I love second chance romances, and this one was so poignant due to the history between Max and Willa.

Max and Cary were best friends growing up, and things got interesting when Willa was added to the mix as they got older. She and Max were inseparable as high school sweethearts, but where Max had big dreams of getting out of Cunningham Falls, Willa loved her hometown and just wanted to raise a family there. Max foolishly left with the belief that he would come back later and find her waiting for him. Unfortunately for him, she ended up growing closer to Cary, marrying him and getting pregnant. Then tragedy struck- Max came home to visit, he went skiing with Cary, and one wrong decision by Cary led to his death. Willa blamed Max and he once again left town to spare her the pain of seeing him every day.

Nine years later, Max is back for his brother's wedding. He hasn't left Cunningham Falls completely, but when he is back he tries to avoid Willa as much as possible to avoid causing her pain. He has never gotten over her, but he is willing to stay away if it helps her. On his annual pilgrimage to Cary's grave, he is surprised when Willa arrives before he leaves- and that she seems to have forgiven him for going skiing with Cary that day even if he still hasn't entirely forgiven himself for not stopping him from showboating. But they try to get past the awkwardness of the past decade, and it is clear they still have feelings for each other.

I just adored Alex, Willa's son! He is a genuinely good kid who adds both comic relief and poignancy to the story as he looks to Max as a father figure while trying to learn more about the father he never knew. Max and Willa heat up the pages even as they both struggle with guilt over her moving on from Cary despite the time that has passed since his death. Cary makes his presence and feelings known in little ways from the beyond though. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and definitely recommend it!

This entire Big Sky Series is terrific, but Waiting For Willa is over-the-top fantastic! There’s just something about a second-chance romance, especially when it’s been several years and a lot of life has happened for the main characters. But gird your heart and grab the tissues, because this one has some heavy emotion.

Max and Willa were childhood sweethearts until Max decided Cunningham Falls was too small for his big dreams and left. Now that he's made his millions, he's back home and wants another chance with Willa. But Willa isn’t the same person she was ten years ago. She's gotten married, had a baby and made a home. Now she's a single mother to a nine-year-old boy and she owns a dress shop in town.

This is a quick easy read that really hits the heart. There were some incredibly touching moments which, based on the synopsis, I can’t tell you details of without spoiling things. Let's just say there is a slight paranormal element and some things between Max and Willa's son, Alex, with Max sharing memories of his best friend, that are truly beautiful. As we can always count on with Proby's books, this one has the humor and heat to go along with the heart, and it's definitely a 1-Clicker.

A really good read where the story flowed seamlessly and you just get carried along as if you’re part of everything. Loved the way the author reunited them and the sweetness of Alex along with the spiritual appearances. Was very well done and loved the story.

Very easy read by Kristen Proby about Willa and Max getting a second chance at love. This book has a nice mix of humour and romance with just enough angst to keep things interesting.

IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Maria and Max has been promising to be a good story from the little bits you would have picked up from the 2nd book in the The Big Sky Series Kissing Jenna but don't worry you don't have to have read that first but would recommend then all for your reading enjoyment. The beginning of book is finding Willia a widow at 22 after her husband had gone skiing with her first love Max - not a good start to this story you would think. But this is a well written book about finding your first love again and over coming the grief that has stopped you moving forward for 8 eights. Willia now has a son who is the light of her live and this comes through in the book as well as Max getting to know her son Alexander.
