I did run into a strange issue with it with network connectivity recently, and I think I have it resolved. I use a different internet DNS server than what my ISP provides (ISP DNS seems to go down occasionally or get overloaded), I was using 1.1.1.1 for Cloudflare's DNS, and have never had any issues, for some reason the TV, especially this past weekend would randomly lose internet frequently, not the connection to the router, just the DNS and internet indicators would be off in the network status, even when trying it on a cabled connection. No other device in the house was having issues, so naturally I thought it was just the TV. I even switched the TV to 8.8.8.8 and a static IP after reading in some forums that others had a similar issue and resolved it by doing this, and this still didn't resolve it, however, I switched my router to 8.8.8.8 and it started working and haven't had an issue in a few days. This actually made it difficult to troubleshoot this issue and I still think very odd that it was the only device in the house that was experiencing this.
I owned a OLED tv and this one is so bright and colors all so incredible the sharp picture is unbelievable so happy with it. When friends come over they can’t believe how clear and sharp it is. I have Apple TV hooked up to it and running Dolby Vision. A friend of mine was so impressed he ordered one for himself When watching Dolby Vision it looks like a 3D movie. Super easy set up, no problem connecting to wifi, and a pleasure to watch! I love my new tv and I definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a great picture with all the necessary apps without any fuss or complicated set-up.

The one star missing is distributed in 3 reasons:
1) 75% of one star, because I felt poorly treated by LG-US Support, not really willing to work (via chat with me) and telling me that they only offer support to products made in the US and to US customers (funny since I bought it from Amazon US and they deliver it to Venezuela). The agent didn't even respond to that reasoning and the chat session was ended. Same thing happened with Panama based support for Latin America (in whose site I couldn't register my TV because that model is not listed). My recommendation to LG-US (or stores selling LG through the Amazon Market Place), do not sell products online and deliver them to other countries if them you're going to deny those buyers customer support.
2) 20% of one I still think the smart of this TV, make the initial setup difficult --particularly when replacing an already working TV Set in a specific and working setup, staring by the fact there is a very few countries to choose (and you must choose language, country and ZIP in order to proceed with initial setup. Not being able to chose your specific country conditions the type of services and contents that you can get if you were to use the Smart TV features & apps from LG, fortunately I use NVIDIA SHIELD TV for that.
3) 5% of one star because I still find the remote a little bossy and not really a universal remote if you want, like I do, use your AVR as the brains of the whole Entertainment center operation, or as someone told me, an HDMI Switch.
Now the 4 stars I'm giving have to do with:
1) 25% of 1 Start Because of Amazon Product Support. Fortunately, I could request it from the Amazon site (you can find that option in your order of the item) and the support agent, called Mia, who took my case went with me through my explanation of my current and desired setup and after asking a few questions recommended me to reset my AVR to factory settings, which I did, as well as resetting the TV (my decision). That did the trick, so then I could repeat my original setup (the one that worked with my Samsung TV) and now I can again use my Harmony universal remote and manage the whole entertainment center using my AVR as an HDMI Switch, with only one HDMI cable going to the TV HDMI (ARC) input port. It's worth to mention that both, AVR and TV HDMI ports use (HDCP 2.2) protocol.
2) The rest of the 4 stars because, once I could overcome the settings issues, and use this LG TV within my setup as I wanted, all the points go to the technology of this TV and the quality of the picture it renders. It presents a beautiful picture, viewable from a wider angle than with the Samsung Counterpart in this screen size (the 49" Class RU8000 Premium Smart 4K UHD). Forget also about all those claims that is not as suited for dimly lit or dark rooms, as their Samsung counterparts. The LG 49SM8600PUA Nano 8 Series has functions for adjusting the vividness and brightness of the picture to the type of room lightning, and it also has AI working to adjust to the current environment light. Finally, for those that care about refresh rate (important in action scenes and gaming to overcome the "cloudy" or blurred effect of this in LCD and LED based TVs) this set has 120Hz native refresh rate and 240 True Motion rate, which in the Samsung counterpart for this screen size is 60Hz native rate and 120 Motion Rate.
Hope my edited review helps other potential buyers.
First review: 12/11/2019.
I received the TV yesterday, without any physical damage, not even a scratch. Then unplugged the 32" Samsung series 6 UN32F6300 HD (1080p), native 120Hz, True Motion 240Hz, and connected this LG in the same schema or setup as the Samsung: All HDMI video capable devices (Nvidia Shield TV, Sony Blu-ray Player and DirecTV deco) are connected to High Speed HDMI cables to the Yamaha RX-V485 AVR HDMI (HDCP 2.2) and then the signal is sent to the TV with a single High Speed (4K) HDMI cable connecting the AVR HDMI (ARC) out port to the LG 49SM8600PUA HDMI 2 (ARC) in port. There's been a way in which I can make the LG TV accept through that Single HDMI port whatever source the AVR sends, except one (in my case the Nvidia Shield TV as the input from the Home Theater (So called in the LG Settings of the HDMI input ports). If I switch the source of the audio-video signal coming into the AVR (through that HDMI Port) the LG TV is going to invariable detect no signal, as if it were expecting only the one coming from the device defined in that port. That is, after you set up one device and assigned to one port (I have tried HDMI 2 -ARC and the Other HDMI -Non ARC and the result is the same), on the LG TV, that port wont be available to set up any other device. So whatever you decide is the device signal coming into one Specific HDMI port on this LG TV when the rest are going to be set, that port (which in my case is the one being used by the signal send by the AVR) will only work id the signal being sent by the AVR is that from the device you first assigned to it.
I started chatting with LG Support in the US (since the TV was purchased in Amazon because it delivers it to Venezuela) and after insisting, against the evidence that it wasn't the AVR since it didn't behave that way when the connected TV was the Samsung) told me that he couldn't give support for sets made outside the US (bought in Amazon US) and to customers outside the US. Yet the product cannot be registered in Venezuela since that model isn't listed and he proceeded to close the chat session. Attempt to chat with support to Venezuela (given from Panama) failed, after chat sesión was dropped because Internet problems (but I could still browse and look for more extensive manuals on LG site). Should have waited for Samsung QLED to be available again. Now I'm stuck with a beautiful TV with great image, that seems its going to requiere to change my connection schema and limit the king of audio formats and quality I could get from my AVR and Klipsch speakers.
