I live in an area where the air is dry all the time. It gets even worse during the winter when we turn on the heat so we always use a humidifier. We have a big one in the bedroom and another in the living room. Usually that’s enough for us but this year I started to work from home a lot. So I wanted to get one for the office. The room itself is kind of small so I opted for something smaller. I saw this one and thought it’d be perfect.
The first thing that caught my eye was that its for babies. Well, no matter—that just means that it’ll be quieter, great! The size was also what I was looking for. Now I usually stay away from China brands but I’ve had good experience with TaoTronics…not with humidifiers, but speakers. Couple that with the fact that it had many positive reviews and I was sold.
I’ve had the product for one week so far. I’ve used several humidifiers before but I read over the instructions just in case. I quickly learnt one thing—there’s a small air intake at the base that you can’t block off. Ok, I can do that.
Having read the guide, I proceeded to try it out. Like all humidifiers it comes with a tank that you fill with water. To access it, you pull the top off. Usually I fill it right to to the max line. The mist appears instantly and there’s a dial at the front where you can control the amount that comes out. Max is a little too much for me so I typically set it to the middle. I was surprised that despite the tiny size (compared to the other ones we have) the tank lasted many hours. I have a radio/alarm thing on my desk that also detects humidity in the room and since I’ve used it it has sat in the comfortable 45% range. Without it, it’s around 20% so you can see that it makes a big difference.
I give it a good wash every few days…because who wants to use a dirty humidifier? The only thing is it’s kind of tricky to clean the crevices properly where the vapor goes through. The good news is that the instructions include a section on how to clean the device with vinegar so you can just follow that. I find that it’s easiest if you use
a small bottle brush-
it lets you get into those nooks and crannies much easier than if you were just using your hands.
They weren’t joking when they said that this is a humidifier for babies. It is super duper quiet—a lot more so than the ones we have in the bedroom and living room. The only thing that you can hear is quiet drip noises every once in a while and even those are soft.
With this price, you can’t really beat the functionality. I’m very satisfied with the quality. It’s great value. In fact I plan on replacing the bedroom one with another one of these soon.

My eyes feel so much better, it's very silent
Finally, some relief for my eyes. The air in my room was so dry, and my eyes used to feel so strained and dry from constantly being on the computer. The humidifier helps out my eyes! Not only that, but I think it is helping out with my dry skin. I recommend this product if you are having the same issue as I was.I absolutely love the white aesthetic on this humidifier! It goes with the decoration in my room. It is also very easy to refill and work with. At first, I did not know that the product was so wide when you look at the side of it, but actually I like it.The noise doesn't bother me! It's very silent. My room is 100 square feet, and it's perfect. It is capable of running almost all day. The nozzle to adjust the setting is small, which I do not mind, because I have small hands. It stops operating when it does not have enough water, which I really appreciate! Because it is a safety issue (it can overheat and become damaged if it did not have this feature). I recommend that you read the manual to learn about more safety precautions. Make sure you clean it!

I absolutely love the white aesthetic on this humidifier! It goes with the decoration in my room. It is also very easy to refill and work with. At first, I did not know that the product was so wide when you look at the side of it, but actually I like it.
The noise doesn't bother me! It's very silent. My room is 100 square feet, and it's perfect. It is capable of running almost all day. The nozzle to adjust the setting is small, which I do not mind, because I have small hands. It stops operating when it does not have enough water, which I really appreciate! Because it is a safety issue (it can overheat and become damaged if it did not have this feature). I recommend that you read the manual to learn about more safety precautions. Make sure you clean it!
