Looking for Trouble Kindle Edition
Clayton Turner has a nasty habit of either losing or hurting the people he cares about. After his partner died, he’d decided keeping to himself was the smartest life choice. He doesn’t count on trouble stumbling into his life in the form of a sexy guy twenty years his junior… and for that guy to be linked to one of the most painful losses of Clay’s past.
Fate steps in and Dylan gets stranded in Bailey Springs. He gets a job, and Clay can’t stop himself from trying to help Dylan get on his feet. And Dylan? Well, Dylan can’t seem to stop flirting with Clay. He tries, he really does…just about as much as Clay attempts not to like it. They couldn’t be more different…or are they? Soon, Trouble and Sad Eyes realize they have a lot more in common than they thought, and once they land in bed together, there’s no going back. Moving forward isn’t any easier, though. Clay’s always walked the straight and narrow, always followed all the rules. But what does he do when the only right path involves looking for trouble?

About the author

Riley Hart’s love of all things romance shines brightly in everything she writes. Her primary focus is Male/Male romance but under various pen names, her prose has touched practically every part of the spectrum of love and relationships. The common theme that ties them all together is stories told from the heart.
A hopeless romantic herself, Riley is a lover of character-driven plots, many with flawed and relatable characters. She strives to create stories that readers can not only fall in love with, but also see themselves in. Real characters and real love blended together equal the ultimate Riley Hart experience.
When Riley isn’t creating her next story, you can find her reading, traveling, or dreaming about reading or traveling, and spending time with her two perfectly snarky kids, and one swoon-inducing husband.
Riley Hart is represented by Jane Dystel at Dystel, Goderich & Bourret Literary Management. She’s a 2019 Lambda Literary Award Finalist for Of Sunlight and Stardust.

Dylan was 25 on a trip to deliver a letter from his departed father to his past friend. He had ADHD which he was getting control of.
Clay 45 and lonely for a night of company and intended a night out.
The characters were well developed and extremely likeable, and the storyline flowed well. My only complaint was the ending! We went from the final chapter being the guys admitting they needed to live apart, still date (so they didn't break up), but both get to a point where they were happy with themself before they took the relationship a step further - and then the epilogue jumped to a year later! I would have much preferred the rest of the book to have been shorter and this self discovery been done as part of the story - something usually done in a Riley Hart book. Don't get me wrong, I loved the story, but feel it was a missed opportunity, and I definitely missed seeing them grow as individuals - I feel a bit cheated that I just got told about how they're all good now instead of witnessing it happen.
Still an enjoyable and fun read - and still a book I would recommend, but I prefer others from this author over this one.

The characters were phenomenal. I enjoyed the details and their quirks, especially their chosen forms of artistic expression. They all suited perfectly with their personalities and added something special. I do wish we could’ve seen some of Clay’s projects and shown appreciation to them, but I guess you can’t have everything.
The mechanics were decent, though I still can’t get on board with some of the choices. They didn’t ruin anything, but my eyeball twitched and constantly reminded me that everything wasn’t quite right.
4.5/5.

This made the story more enduring. Clay in his forties and a widower.
Dylan, in his twenties loves older men
Dylan promised his dad that he would find his long lost friend and give him a letter.
Clay was not ready for the whirlwind of a guy, who would change his forever.
This story was funny, captivating and enjoyable.
As much as Clay tried to resist Dylan his armour kept cracking.
This was a happy journey seeing how they over came the age gap for their happy ending
