1. How does RoboVac navigate? RoboVac uses Bounce technology to navigate when cleaning.

RoboVac changes directions when it encounters obstacles and works in a back-and-forth traveling motion. Bounce Navigation means that RoboVac will follow a random path when cleaning. This method is still proven to cover an entire room over time.

2. What are the optimal uses for RoboVac 11 slim?

- Use low- to medium-pile carpets, tile, laminated, and hardwood floors.

- Move cables out of the way to avoid entanglement. 5 cable ties are provided in the package to help you better organize wires and power cords.

3. My RoboVac cannot be activated. What can I do?

-Make sure the battery is fully charged.

-Replace the batteries in the remote control.

-Make sure the remote control is within range (10 ft/3 m) of RoboVac.

-Still have trouble? Turn off the main power switch and then turn it back on.

4. What if RoboVac suddenly stops working?

- Check if RoboVac is trapped or stuck on an obstacle.

- Check if the battery level is too low.

- If you still have trouble, turn off the main power switch, wait for 2 seconds, and then turn it back on.

5. Will RoboVac fall down stairs when working?

No. Anti-drop sensors prevent RoboVac from tumbling down stairs and steep drops. They may work less effectively if they are dirty or on very dark-colored floors. Placing a physical barrier to block off problem areas is recommended.

Eufy Kicks My $1k Ultra SMART Mapping Vacuums In The BUTT! ALWAYS Finds its Way Home SUPER RARE.
"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication"-Leonardo Devinci [Just like EUFY]It is now the nearly the end of 2020 and still going STRONG, SMART. SLEEK-- no need to replace battery, yet especially with the rare on/off switch on the bottom side. Also, with the tempered glass top still no scratches (all pictures updated). Looks and performs as amazing as the day it arrived for a solid 100 minutes! My favorite robotic vacuum of all time Highly recommended!★★★★ Quality★★★★ Price★★★★ Shipping★★★★ Description★★★★ Smart Features★★★★ Durability/Best in the industry★★★★ Home Docking/Recharging★★★★ Cleaning&Sensors EXCELLENT★★★★ Longevity (a forever robotic vacuum)★★★★ Gets under everything! Dust Bunny 🐰 Free Hone!.Original ReviewTo set your expectation consider yourself LUCKY to have found this Eufy even though it is not APP operated, YET still out preforms all competition and has built on remote holder for scheduling with excellent client support to help replace also just press button for maximum cleaning on unit.Eufy is made by Anker ( approved) an incredible technology company that offer such inexpensive and extraordinary innovative power that you can find their products on the  Apple site and all of my experiences have been nothing, but amazing with Anker so when I realized Eufy was an Anker product I knew I scored big time.IF I had only known what I do now “SIMPLER and SLIMMER is ALWAYS BETTER” after 7 ULTRA SMART and FRUSTRATING Robotic Vacuums which only makes me appreciate this Eufy even more. Firstly... Could've saved a fortune! Something you have to learn the hard way. Save this link if you think otherwise because you WILL BE BACK.THE ‘Eufy’ EXPERIENCE:• Add to your Cart and Stalk I randomly found for $149 on lightening deal ⚡️and would’ve bought 2 white (hard to find) if I’d known it’d be this perfect (will update— always do if there any surprises and adjust Star Rating/Review).• Arrives quickly and I was certain it’d be another return and so far it has been the best out of 7 Robotic Vacuums in 3 Years thus far.• The 1st charge (extremely important to NOT turn-on without fully charging) is unbelievably FAST for a Robotic Vacuum. I actually received it before heading to the airport and could not believe I was able to test it fully changed before I was out the door in a rush!• I really appreciate that this is a FOREVER vacuum, unlike competitors Eufy by Anker this is the perfect option you can keep forever because they offer a replacement battery for $22 PRIME and an ON/OFF switch underneath I have never seen ever (to conserve battery life). I much rather pay $22 PRIME than be FORCED to buy a whole new vacuum which is extremely common in the robotic vacuum industry. Electronic products are made this way and die around the end of the warranty IF lucky and not 3 months (I've been through this 3 times) and force you to buy an entire new unit when you just pop a new battery in. Have fun with that if you skip. You will be back!• The batter offer replacement is way better than spending another $500 on avg. and it is designed in a way you just pop to in. So crazy and wasteful the robotic vacuum industry can is. Super impressed.• Eufy runs for 100 minutes of cleaning time when the Ultra Smart Vac’s need a full 12-24 hour charge before a test/cleaning and an industry standard of 30-40 minutes of cleaning time.• Eufy is THE ONLY ROBOTIC VACUUM TO ALWAYS FIND ITS WAY HOME TO DOCK AND RECHARGE— EVERY SINGLE TIME! Mind blown! I've only had one of many vacuums actually find it's way back and dock a total of 3 times. They ALWAYS claim it goes to it's Home/Charging Dock, yet never do! I simply cannot believe it!• It has a clever On/Off underneath which will help conserve your vacuums longevity if you do so choose. Something I have never seen and would’ve not appreciated until now after all the expensive duds.• In the video it sounds loud, yet not at all as loud as my other’s. It sounds like a blade less Dyson Fan if you are familiar. i.e Smooth Air Blowing• The accessories like extra filter, sweepers (the highest quality I have ever seen as they tend to arrive bent), comb with cutting tool (should be used everyday you run it and is extremely common with all Vacuums as of yet), etc.• Easy manuals no weird or bad grammar to scare you off that is all too common now.• The sensor is as common as all it will bump things just like a very expensive Vac and is very alert to People and Animals. (Updated has better sensory than any of my other 7 adventures, yeah still bumps but now notice not nearly as much as all other brands).• I am so used to Vacuums never ever finding their way “Home”, so why set a cleaning schedule. Pointless. Eufy you can confidently.• The simplest way to ensure it always finds its way home is to make sure all cables/wires are not on the floor which is common knowledge to Robotic Vacuum owners. No, it won’t destroy cables it will simply shut off and need to be manually docked otherwise your set for a cleaning schedule.• Far too many Smart Vacuums are just too thick to clean under platform beds and furniture and if they cannot fit under I am just not interested. Why have one if it’s not going to do “Spring Cleaning” everyday and keep your home fresh, dust mite and dust bunny 🐰 free? It’s by far one of the most desired features speaking for myself.• My most preferred Vacuum’s have been By Eco Vac’s DeeBot Pro’s (owned 3) most are slim enough to get under most everything and they mop (I don’t like my area rugs mopped so, only tired that once) they have several issues, but have been the Top for me since Eufy which I highly prefer to my Eco Vac M83 PRO that I will be giving away if Eufy keeps up being superior.• Area Rugs... Eufy is highly intelligent when it comes to area rugs from thick to thin (also carpet). My once preferred Vac was okay, but would always have a the toughest time on thin rugs by flipping them and dragging them, also trying to climb her high sheep pelts and getting stuck. Eufy is super smart with its sensor to stay away from fluffy pelts (those are dry clean and sheep pelt brush) AND thin and high pile rugs Eufy has ZERO ISSUE when cleaning. Just AMAZING.• Also, excellent for finding a diamond earring you dropped etc., yes, I absolutely use it to FIND Small Impossible things without damaging!• I feel this covers all the major bases and is an excellent Vacuum I have waited several years for. Simple, slim, intelligent, and still cannot believe it runs over an hour and always always finds its way home to reboot and APPS have no become way overrated and a pain in the butt!Eufy Compared To Ultra Smart $$$$ Vacs:• I have owned 7 Smart Robotic Vacuums; the highest priced being the “Ultra Smart” Neato (returned after nearly a month of nonsense) with Home Mapping Technology at $1K. Sorry, the bigger, thicker, wider, and SMARTER it claims to be in my experience the more dumb it is. It becomes more of a chore meaning you have to reset the map every single time you move something and they are so thick they can cannot get all the dust and debris under furniture like Eufy does effortlessly.• Eufy cleans for 100 mins & always and I mean always finds its way home (something I was always promised, but they never returned even when commanded) so you can truly set a cleaning schedule!• While most all Smart Vac’s claim to dock and charge on their yet ALWAYS alert you over and over that they are stuck or have to be searched for with app, yet, Eufy is always obedient and doesn’t even need that function!I have only seen Eco Vacs find its way home 2x in 3 years now after 3 models (of that brand), Neato never, Dyson Eye never ever again!• It is proven that Vacuums that run in straight carpet lines are less efficient at cleaning. Hard to believe, but random has proven to out clean the $1,000 USD Plus Vacs.• If I had known it’d always do a no nonsense cleaning without me having to follow it I would’ve withdrew doubt and ordered 2 at $143.• Eufy keeps it Simple, Sleek, Very Slim (gets under virtually EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you can imagine compared to Neato and other very high priced Robo Vacuums that cannot even get under a platform bed and other low profile furniture meaning dust will continue to pile up).One Con (maybe I missed it) no phone app to control while away. If so DO NOT LOSE THE REMOTE. I may be wrong. I am writing a review after a 3 day trip that I set a cleaning schedule toVERY IMPRESSIVELY FIND EUFY Nearly FULL BIN Scheduled to clean once a day while away FOR 3 DAYS (house is always clean) and sitting at its docking station. An Easy 5-Stars Buy Eufy and forget the hype over these Ultra “Dumb” expensive Vacs that do Nothing, but turn you into a Vacuum Babysitter! I would seriously have to follow a $400-1k vacuum around. Yes, this is a huge deal to me after never having this experience with purchasing so many Ultra Smart crazy expensive vacuums. If you are sick of babysitting your smart cleaning devices this simple, slim, chic vacuum is the Answer!Update August 15th 2019WOW this would be 10 stars if the option was available! The sensory oddly seems to have improved.Has now problem cleaning BIG messes.Eufy has a crazy “hop” and still intelligent enough to avoid my sheep rugs that insanely fluffy and vacuuming is forbidden for care. Perfect. It does not flip, move around very thin rugs, or get stuck under them a common issue with super expensive smart Robo Vacuums! It continues to impress!I pick this Eufy over all of my ultra Smart experiences. I could careless about apps! The remote is great and if lost it automatically turns on with a press to it’s Mac suction and gets the job done better than iRobot, Neato, Dyson Eye, several ECOVACS Pro’s, etc..Save your money, time, and hassle of the Smart (dumb) options.I no longer have to follow an over-priced Robo around, get alerts it’s stuck, haven’t had to use a smart beeping tracker to track it down.It buy far has the best built-in features to schedule and forget. The only TRUE robotic vacuum you do not have to even think about turn on or schedule and forget about. The only thing it’s missing is to dump itself out!Mind blown! Finally, a Robo Vac that does exactly what you’d expect.Forget the hype or when your over all the overpriced Vac’s you WILL return or just die on you save this! Only then will you truly see the beauty of simple effective cleaning that you don’t have to babysit! Why buy a new robotic vacuum when Anker's Eufy has an easy (not hidden) inexpensive battery? Otherwise with other brands you FORCED to buy a whole new unit!eufy RoboVac Replacement Battery Pack, Compatible with RoboVac 11S, 11S MAX, 15T, 30, 30C MAX, 15C, 15C MAX, 12, 35C AccessorySave or 1-click buy for the BEST you will find!

Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2018
Color: BlackVerified Purchase
Background: I have a shedding dog, so I bought this in hopes that by running it every-day, it would pick up on some of the dog hair on the floor.

What I like:
-VERY easy to use.
-easy to follow instructions
-has a sticker on the bottom so if it ever stops and beeps, you can flip it over and it says exactly what the beeps mean (one beep means one thing, two beeps means another--which is SUPER helpful!).
-color on top clearly shows what mode it is in (blue-ready to go, orange-needs to charge, red-problem to fix-such as emptying the tray).
-very quiet. I can work on stuff with it in the room and it does not bother me at all (my dog also does not mind it).
-works great on white carpet and easily transitions from my living room to dining room (which has a slight bump).
-when its low on battery, it does not die where it is at, it just turns off the vacuum then finds the home doc and charges itself.
-just works really well. I run it everyday and I am impressed by how much stuff it gets (especially when it goes under things such as the couch).
-if it gets caught on a cord, it usually takes 5-10 seconds but then it stops the suctioning and moves away (releasing the cord or other item). However if you have a small cord you should put it up (and you should regardless, I just noticed it doing this a few times and thought it was neat, but I do try to pick up all cords).

What could be improved:
-nothing really in particular to this.
-It does not work well on anything black, but this is true for all robot vacuums. It sometimes gets stuck when it goes on the black carpet we have with the black chairs (I suspect because it can not detect them), but this has not happened often. My dog has a black mat for her food and water and it always bumps into it and spills the water, but again, this would occur with any robot vacuum.
-Also, make sure the doc is against a wall because otherwise it will move and never charge (self explanatory, but I did not do the first time and it kept trying to doc and was just pushing the doc around the floor).
-Finally, you do have to dump out the vacuum particles almost every time you run it (if you do a full circle/battery cycle). It is really easy to dump and beeps when it needs to be emptied. Again, nothing really negative, just something to note.

Overall, I really like this! It does a nice job cleaning up the dog hair and other things that get on my floor and saves me a lot of time not vacuuming daily. If you have a dog, I would watch them with this first before you use it. My dog was initially scared of it but sniffed it's "butt" and now they are cool and she does not mind it at all. Pleased with this product and would recommend! :)

**UPDATE**
On another note, Eufy has amazing customer service! I received an email from them addressing each of my "what could be improved" components with more information on the product. Very impressed.

For background, The main reason I started looking into an automatic vacuum was for pet hair and litter! I have 3 cats and it's a constant battle to keep the floors clean and the house fresh. In order to keep the floors looking okay, I needed to sweep at least twice per day, but since I hate sweeping I rarely even did it once a day. I started to look into vacuums and this one rated highly on vacuum wars (a YouTube channel I highly recommend if you're doing any kind of vacuum shopping!) and was also in my price range.

I feel like for the price, I couldn't ask for any better. I work from home, so I don't need any fancy app or anything like that. I also didn't care for Just something fairly quiet and effective that I can run 1-3x per day and will keep the floors clean without actually having to do anything but pick up and press a button lol. I usually run it once in the morning, once before bed, and sometimes once in the afternoon but really only if I feel like it. It does a really good job at picking up litter, cat hair, and crumbs. The house looks, smells, and feels much cleaner! I think it was well worth the price, and replacement parts are affordable if needed down the line.

Pros:
-Fair Price point
- quiet enough that I can run it while my daughter is sleeping, or while I'm working and it's not distracting
- cats don't mind it, they were suspicious at first but accepted it as part of the family within an hour
- good at picking up litter, cat hair, and is able to get in and around most places in my home
- It's easy to empty, I usually do it every day or 2, even though it's not completely full

Cons:
- Like most of these automatic vacuums, you probably need to do a deep clean once a week or every 2 weeks, using a regular vacuum/ mop. If you didn't it would still be way cleaner than doing nothing at all. For my hard floor, really the mopping is what needs to be done periodically.
-It does get stuck sometimes. Particularly under this one low drawer. Since I only run it when I'm home I just have to go get it if I hear it beeping, not a big deal for my situation.
- The cleaning is randomized so sometimes it misses certain spots or gets one room more thoroughly than another room. You have to be mindful of picking things up and shutting doors where you don't want it to go
- sometimes it disconnects from the charger, I'm not sure if my cats knock it out of place or what, but it can be a bummer if I was planning on running it and it needs to be charged (which takes an hour or 2)
- Sometimes it can find it's way back to the charger, sometimes it dies before it can figure it out. Again, not a huge deal since I'm around, but something to take into account if you plan to run it while you're out.

Bottom line it's overall not as "smart" as the more expensive models, but I feel that's a given. It works perfectly for my situation, and I would buy it again and recommend it for most work at home households

I love this thing it’s perfect for 600 square-foot apartment. It can clean my whole place in 2 1/2 hours, I usually keep it running when I’m out of the house. I have a dog and It can pick up all of her fur perfectly. I literally feel like I come home to a super clean, dust free house. Even though I have long hair, I only need to operate a maintenance on the rollers underneath every 2 to 3 months.

While I give it a 5 star, it does come with some downfalls. It gets stuck on my rug and it goes over my gold U legs on my accent chairs, causing mini scratches on them however, considering I got this for half of the price during a deal sale I honestly have no complaints.

I just really wanted to try out a robot vacuum concept, and this product really allowed me to do that. While it comes with a bare basic software and just a remote, it definitely impressed me. I almost kind of love that it’s basic because I feel much safer. I’ve heard some things about the newer models with the cameras of people hacking those robots and being able to find a map of your house and track your movement.

I’ve had this since February, and I can honestly stay with the proper maintenance and attention to the product, you will have a very nice experience

It’s been eight months and I still haven’t changed the side brushes yet. Everything is running completely perfectly and the only thing I’ve changed is the filter.

It’s the best thing that I’ve bought in a long time. It cleans the floor so well that I don’t need to do mopping! It’s slim and goes under my sofa and tv unit easily. Remote is user friendly. Battery life is excellent - more than 2 hours it’s worked on full charge and still not discharged. Extremely happy with it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Euphy does the work.

Update: We don't have a clear 6 foot run to the charging dock in the tucked away spot we want to park euphy, so we help it find the dock using the remote to drive it past the dining table legs toward the docking station. Once it is close, about 3 feet away, it senses the docking station and goes the rest of the way on its own.

Got the euphy 11S in white delivered in one day. (To my neighbor, but happily we are friends). This little robovac is impressive. Easy to set up. The manual helped us on the first run to troubleshoot that the bumper was stuck (got loosened from us unpackaging it) and once we tapped it back in tight it ran beautifully. We charged it overnight and got 2 working hours of cleaning before it docked itself again to charge. Smart lil guy. I like having the hand held remote rather than using a phone app. Can drive it using the remote, too, which I like, or just let it toddle around on auto in a random pattern. I do wish it had 2 brushes as shown in the company's video. Seems they redesigned it to have only one brush. Don't see the logic in that. The side with the brush cleaned out corners and edges so well, while the non-brush side left crumbs behind. Rethink that choice designers! Lost a star for that. Other than that, this little machine picked up a LOT of hair and dust, and very fine dust, at that! I'm impressed. Easy to empty and clean. Quiet enough it does not distract from conversation or tv shows. You must have a spot for the docking device that allows for 6 feet of unblocked space in front and 3 ft on each side. It's needs a straight 6 foot travel line to find and align with the docking device. We have only had it a day and a half and used it once. So far very happy with euphy. Good price. Good work. Recommend this robovac for sure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Long term review

I bought the eufy 11s in February 2020. Here are my thoughts after about 9 months of use.

The reasons I picked this model over others were: cost, size(slim), and noise levels. Another reason was that it's operated with an old-fashioned remote and there's no hassle of setting up the app/wifi etc. The remote allows for different modes and scheduling so I'm not really missing out on much. It is very low so sneaks in under beds and low furniture in areas that used to be cleaned only occasionally earlier. Noise levels are very low so it could keep working around me when I'm working from home without too much disturbance.

Like any robo vacuum, it is low powered (compared to a full size powered vacuum) but it is thorough and keeps bumping around for more than an hour and then goes back to the base for recharging. I can see that my house is visibly cleaner since this little guy started working. It also made me aware of messy cables and other things lying around (by getting stuck), and so I had to do some cable management and to make sure that I keep the floor free of random things - I will mark this as a positive. I had to remove an accent carpet from the floor as the loose threads at the end (the fringe) would get stuck in the sweeping wheels - this will happen with all robot vaccums so be aware if your home is full of such things.

After sales service/warranty: My robovac stopped charging after about 9 months of use - likely the battery died. I was not hoping for any kind of service network but after a few emails, I was able to get hold of their service center in India (Chennai). They sent me a prepaid courier label to ship the vacuum to them. It took about a couple of weeks but I got my repaired vacuum back. Since the vacuum was still under warranty period, I did not have to pay anything.

Getting spare accessories and battery is a hit or miss. sometimes there are available on amazon and sometimes not. So irobot or Mi may be better in the long run. Other than that, this is a good robot vacuum.

Update June 2022: the front bumper on the robovac was all scratched up and it was breaking apart. I contacted the Eufy/Anker customer support to get a new bumper and they sent it to me for a reasonable cost. The vacuum is good as new (well almost) now.
