I've only started using these skewers recently, since purchasing them a while back. I bought it to use as craft sticks for centerpieces. BUT I noticed that over half of the sticks in the bag are green. I cannot send this out to clients. Now I have several hundred sticks left with nothing to do with them. Very disappointed. My picture is bright but you can still see the green

These were perfect for a recent bbq. Like many other people suggest, make sure you soak your skewers before cooking on the grill. I grilled about 10 pounds of beef brochette, and didn't have any of these skewers (soaked for 2 days) catch fire or start to fall apart. I would definitely get these again the next time I need skewers.

These are sturdy skewers that will hold up to the weight of chicken and onions on them in my restaurant. I wasn't sure whether to go with 8", 10", or 12" skewers so I ended up going with the 8". A little short I'd say for kebabs but that was my own fault, not in any way the skewers fault. While I wish I had gone with longer ones these did just fine and like I said, I like that they were sturdy enough that I wasn't concerned about putting them on the grill.
