Comfortable, but practice.
My EMT work pants don’t allow for holsters under the pants so a belly band was the way to go. This one works well, fits well and it helps keep your gut in, supports an aching kidney from drinking too much, and supports an aching aging back. Only thing I’d stress is practice using it, as in quickly drawing from it. You’ll find the button gun latch will get caught in your hand and you’ll be forced to drop your gun. So while wearing it, tuck the clip latch behind it so you can easily draw the gun. Also as an update after three months of wearing it, I wish the manufacturer would add a second layer of Velcro. The single layer isn’t enough as it ages. I’ll probably sew another layer myself in a stripe fashion.

As a female gun owner, I have used various brands of belly band holsters over many years. They are my favorite type of holster as I can easily conceal my pistol in almost any outfit. I lost my previous belly band, and it had been years since I bought it, so I decided to take a look and see what new options were available. I saw this holster and immediately bought it. It arrived today, and while I haven't actually worn it yet, I did try it on. It seems very comfortable and my Smith and Wesson SD9 (16+1 round compact) fits PERFECTLY! Conceals my gun with NO PRINTING under a regular t-shirt. I also LOVE the fact that it has a built in trigger guard for added safety. The retention strap seems to be secure but it's still easy to access the firearm quickly. The re-positionable mag pouch is cool too. None of my previous belly bands have had that. It also has a pouch to carry your knife, pepper spray, ect. I would definitely recommend this holster, especially to women. Ladies, stop carrying your pistols in easily stolen purses and carry on body with this holster!

I thought this would be just another Spandex-type wrap-around with an additional slot to use as a holster... I was wrong! This does wrap around, secured with Velcro, like a Spandex wrap, but the quality is far better than just a plain brace wrap.
The holster is integrated into the belt with a very positive snap closure. The magazine pouch is adjustable with a new form of Velcro I have never seen (It sticks anywhere on the wrap, but doesn't have the Velcro feel to it). I have sub-compact handguns up to full size, military-issue (all steel) handguns. I tried them all in this holster.
EVERY pistol I have, from my tiny .22 Derringer to my Browning Hi-Power and Tokarev military surplus pistols, fit into the holster, nice and snug (I don't know how they did that). The magazine pouch holds my single-stack Tokarev magazines or even a 13 round double-stack (I can fit two Tokarev single stack or one double-stack Hi-Power mag in the pouch). The mag pouch has a Velcro strap to adjust for thickness or length of the magazine and holds them in snug, but not too tight where it is tough to pull out. I turned the magazine pouch upside down when carrying one mag for easier swapping of magazines (old habit)... even with a fully-loaded 9mm, 13 round steel magazine, the inverted carry is secure. The strap holds it snug, releases with a tug on the strap and the mag still holds until I pull it out (I wouldn't say it is equal to a competition plastic/polymer mag holder, but this is for concealed carry, not competition).
Regardless of which pistol I choose to conceal carry, or where I need to have the rig on my body, the belt allows me to pull it up to my armpits or around my thigh (IF I wore a skirt... I don't, but I tried to see if it would work, it does). Whether it is up under my armpits or around my waist, even with a Tokarev or 1911 or the Hi-Power, this does not print - the good thing about the holster design is the snap strap holding the pistol in the holster - It can be positioned to positively lock your pistol regardless of the shape of the handgun. I can confidently carry in "Condition One" with the 1911 or Tokarevs. The strap can be placed between the hammer and firing pin with a round in the chamber, safety on and hammer cocked. Regardless the size of pistol, that holster strap holds the weapon in place.
I totally recommend this "Belly Band" holster for anyone who is lawfully carrying concealed. I have custom leather twin shoulder holsters for my Hi-Powers and my Tokarevs that cost over $200 each. In order to use them, I have to dress a specific manner to have them be accessible. This Belly Band holster puts my twin rigs to shame, being able to be used as an underarm shoulder rig or a belly rig (appendix carry, belly carry, anywhere and any position on your torso). The band is comfortable and does not pinch or scratch.
For discreet conceal carry, this product is ideal for one-pistol carry without having to wear a baggy jacket to keep from printing. I wore a plain T-shirt to a dentist visit and the dentist/assistants never noticed I was armed. It's a great band/holster.

My comments about the comfortac belly band holster. This is a comfortable band to ware and well constructed. I have used the holster for two pistols first the ruger 380 – the pistol fits a little loose in the holster and will push down deep into the holster which makes it a little hard to retrieve. Make sure to use the flex strap or the pistol can slip out during a run or brisk walk. SW 9 mm shield. - This fits better into the holster and straps down for secure fit. It’s easier to retrieve from holster than the 380. Summary, a good set up just depends on your application. Works for me because I wear it during a walk or run for exercise. Hope this helps.

My daughter recommended it to me and she was right, I'm not disappointed. The band feels comfortable and the Velcro is really tough, holding everything in place. My gun is all steel and on the heavier side, but no problem, it's held in very secure and I find it easy to withdraw. So far I only used the "On hip" way, but will try out other positions as well. I tried a few carry solutions and have a very good leather holster, but I'm not always wearing a belt, here in the South, more shorts and my gun would pull my pants down and/or dangle too much in the pocket. This band is the perfect solution and next to impossible to spot. My T-shirts are on the loose side and you can't see anything.

I normally don't give reviews but I felt I had to with this one. This is actually my second belly band holster becathe button broke off on my first one--only because I wore it quite a bit.

1) Comfort. I barely know it's on even with a full size pistol.
2) Convenient. You can leave it on while visiting the restroom. You can wear it while exercising and while wearing sweat pants.
3) Reliable. I've dropped my pistol AND holster off of my belt with a conventional holster. This one keeps it as snug and secure as you need it.
4) Versatility. Position it *360 around your waist/belly and as high or low as you need it.

It also comes with a spare mag holder. Out of the package, the mag holder is at the back portion of the band. The only issue I had with the last one was once I repositioned the mag holder, it wouldn't quite stick back to where I needed it. Maybe I'll sew it to where I need it if this happens again.

I'm overall satisfied with it and it was cheaper than last time!

BTW, I carry a Springfield XDM Compact Elite 45. It will also fit similar polymer pistols, even 1911s.

I was looking for something comfortable enough to wear all day and sturdy enough to use outside. The band is very comfortable but the snap holding the pistol is too easily opened and my pistol has dropped on the ground when working in the yard bending over can't imagine running with this. The cell phone holder is too small for modern phones (Note 20) and the clip holder is too far from the holster if you carry on the right the clip is so far back it's in my back when sitting in a chair.
