About E-Collar Technologies

Educator E-Collar Remote Dog Training technology utilizes low-level stimulation conditioning to achieve superior results and improve your dog’s behavior. Only trust the best for your best friend.

Educator E-Collar Dog Training Collar with Remote

Mini ET-300 one dog system with 1/2 mile range

Happiness is a well-behaved dog. Safe and humane dog training to improve effectiveness and reduce stress on your dog. Educator training collars use the lowest levels of 'blunt' stimulus to improve behavior and reduce the stress of owning a dog. Every Educator dog training collar is built to the highest quality standards and is engineered to withstand extreme environmental dog training conditions. We fully assemble each Educator dog training collar and test all of our products in the USA.

  • Innovative ergonomic design
  • Delivers a tapping sensation similar to vibration, but more intense, making it an effective addition to the stimulation
  • User-selectable stimulation levels from 1 to 100 with additional boost stimulus selectable from 1 to 60
  • Pavlovian tone on all models
  • Waterproof transmitter and receiver
  • Shock resistant
  • Lithium-polymer rechargeable batteries with dual charger, 2-hour full charge
  • Tracking light
Regular and Boost Stimulation

Pavlovian Tone and Ergonomic Design

An exciting new feature is Pavlovian Tone. When the button is held down, the dog first hears a 1½ second tone, followed by stimulation, unless the button is released. Dogs quickly learn to associate the tone with a stimulation and soon respond to the tone itself.

With its ergonomic 'stopwatch' design, you don’t even have to look at the transmitter, allowing you to watch your dog at all times. The transmitter also controls a tracking light which allows the user to flash or continuously light up the training collar receiver for locating a dog after dark. A beeper can be turned on to help locate a lost transmitter. The waterproof transmitter even floats, so don’t worry if you drop it in the lake. The convenient night blue LCD displays used on all Educator products provide the user an easy way of knowing the stimulation level in all conditions.

Educator collars use proprietary stimulation that’s “blunt”, but not “sharp”

This is less stressful for the dog, while still providing sufficient incentive for compliance with your commands. Educator is loaded with unique features, with stimulation levels from 1 to 100 and the ability to set a boost level from 1 to 60, to control the most stubborn dogs, even in prey drive. Educator’s customized low level stimulation achieves superior training results without undue stress.

COS improves training results and provides a better dog training experience for owner and dog alike

Our advanced COS (Control Of Stimulation), employed with all Educator dog training collars, provides the owner the ability to finely tune the stimulation level for all the different temperaments of dogs. Dogs properly trained with Educator collars typically never vocalize discomfort, jerk their heads or experience the fear of the training collar commonly found with imported shock collars. The stimulation dial can be adjusted from level 0 to 100 easily and safely, without the risk of over stimulation. The 'lock and set' feature allows the user to lock in the best stimulation level.

Contact Points

Educator contact points are available in different sizes for different breeds. Be sure to use the shortest contact point that makes a reliable connection.

Stainless steel contains nickel, which often causes reddening of the skin at the point of contact in sensitive dogs. Titanium contact points are made without nickel, enabling your dog to wear the collar without experiencing redness and irritation.

3/8” contact points are great for short-haired breeds.

5/8” contact points are ideal for short to medium-haired breeds.

3/4” contact points are best for medium to thick-haired breeds with heavy undercoats.

Warning: As with all contact points, do not leave the collar receiver on the dog for more than 8 hours at a time.

Comfort Pads

Comfort pads improve contact by distributing pressure points wider on the neck for better coverage. These are ideal for dogs with skin irritation or sensitivities, or for extended wear and training time.

Compatible with Educator RX-090 small, RX-120 large and RX-1000 receivers. Not compatible with RX-070 micro receiver.

Warning: As with all contact points, do not leave the collar receiver on the dog for more than 8 hours at a time.

Replacement Collars

Durable Biothane material will not fray and is waterproof and odorproof, making it perfect for outdoors and active dogs.

3/4” wide straps fit the RX-070 micro and RX-090 mini collar receivers used in 300 and 400 series models, as well as Barkless Pro model 504.

1” wide straps fit the RX-120 large collar receiver used in 800 and 1200 series models.

Collars can be trimmed to desired length.

Buckle Collars are 29-1/2” in length. Several colors to choose from. Made in USA.

Quick Snap Bungee Collars are 33” in length. Available in black or red. Made in USA.

Chargers

Two leads allow simultaneous charging of transmitter and receiver.

Model CHARGER-300/400 for the following transmitters with round charging ports: ET-300, ME-300, ZEN-300, ET-302, ME-302, ZEN-302, ET-400, ET-402, BP-504, FE-560, FE-562. Also for receivers RX-070 Micro, RX-090 Mini and RX-1000 for E-Fence systems.

I can't recommend this E collar enough. We have a now 1 year chocolate lab (named Mocha) and right around the 8-10 month mark she became very testy with us. It was like having a teenager in dog form lol. Anyways I used the E Collar orginally for off leash training with Mocha and it worked extremely well. As long as you know how to use it properly the dog will catch on very fast.To train Mocha on it I followed these steps...1. I made sure Mocha had a solid foundation of training commands in the house such as sit, down, come, stay and so on. Inside is easy compared to outside with the many distractions and smells outside.2. I then took her outside using a 100ft drag line and basically repeated these commands. Every time she listened such as coming to me I would give her a treat. If she didn't respond on the fist time, I would vibrate her and give her the command again. At this point, if she didn't listen after 2 attempts at the command she would get shocked with the command again. Believe me I can tell you how many times (handful of times) I have shocked her because dogs quickly understand they need to listen to our commands and they don't want to be shocked. The shock function goes up to 100 and I originally started it with level 12 but we leave it at level 29 which is the "sweet spot" for Mocha. Mocha is approximately 60+ lbs and is extremely active so she needs a little bit more "umph" to affect her and get her attention.3. Within days, I didn't even need the drag line because Mocha knew she wasn't going to just run off, she quickly paid attention at all times awaiting commands or playing fetch with a toy.4. I used this exclusively for recall training at first but ended up using it for Mochas teenageness as well lol.Now for her testiness that was the teenager phase as my wife and I called it...in the house when she would for the lack of a better phrase get bratty with us. We would simply pick up the E collar remote and she would quickly listen or stop doing what we were telling her to stop doing. Every now and then a vibrate but its extremely rare she gets shocked because she knows the vibrate is her warning.Anyways Mocha is a completely different dog within just days of having this E collar, she listens, she doesn't test her boundaries anymore (partially because she's grown up too) but now we have complete control over her. Like I said earlier in this review, if you the E collar properly, there is nothing inhumane about it. Its not a punishment tool, its a reinforcement/ attention tool. Also your dog needs to know what your asking of them, so they need to have the solid foundation of commands from the get go. And you need to work that in with using the E collar so your not just telling them to sit and shocking them for not listening, then they wont get it. Kind of hard to explain, but for people who use this and know what I am talking about, know. Seek professional training advice if you need or use Youtube which has plenty of videos teaching how to teach your dog tons of things!I know this E collar is expensive, BUT I have tried 2 of the cheaper ones and they never really worked. As soon as I got this one, it worked right away and the battery life is phenomenal! I end up throwing on the charger every few days but I have found it charges so fast that I dont even need to throw it on that much. Mocha wears this collar pretty much all day when my wife and or I are home. If your serious about your dog training, this is worth every single penny! The collar band is decent, but kind of a pain, I have never been a fan of the belt style collars for dogs, I like metal snap buckles or cobra buckles. So I upgraded the collar to a k9tactical E collar which was only $25 and it has a cobra buckle simple easy on and off. I love this E collar even more because of it!Turning the collar on and off is actually pretty neat, it uses a magnetic part on the remote which is a little red cirlce then you touch the remotes little red dot to a little red dot on the collars receiver thus turning the receiver on. The remote turns on and off buy a button easy peasy. The other buttons are extremely intuitive, one side is one button which is the vibrate and the other side is 2 buttons which you know are the shock buttons when using the remote meaning you don't need to look at the remote when you use it.Update as of 8/3/2020:Collar and remote are still going strong. The antenna has a couple chips of plastic missing but we also abuse this remote/ collar. It goes on hikes, swimming in lakes, rolling in the grass in the snow in all weather conditions whatever mocha throws at it lol still couldn’t recommend it enough! The only thing I wish it had was some sort of battery level indicator for the remote and collar but otherwise it’s still running great!

Anyways Mocha is a completely different dog within just days of having this E collar, she listens, she doesn't test her boundaries anymore (partially because she's grown up too) but now we have complete control over her.

Seek professional training advice if you need or use Youtube which has plenty of videos teaching how to teach your dog tons of things!

I know this E collar is expensive, BUT I have tried 2 of the cheaper ones and they never really worked.

I love this E collar even more because of it!

Turning the collar on and off is actually pretty neat, it uses a magnetic part on the remote which is a little red cirlce then you touch the remotes little red dot to a little red dot on the collars receiver thus turning the receiver on. The remote turns on and off buy a button easy peasy.

The other buttons are extremely intuitive, one side is one button which is the vibrate and the other side is 2 buttons which you know are the shock buttons when using the remote meaning you don't need to look at the remote when you use it.

Update as of 8/3/2020:

Collar and remote are still going strong.
