The monitor has multiple language support although the default setting was Japanese. The monitor menu buttons were quite confusing at first. There are three physical buttons on the monitor but if you push the menu button, there are four functions indicated. The - functions as < (right) and + functions as > (left). The - button also functions as "back" when long pressed. The menu button also functions as "select" on the menu and as a power button if you long press it.
The default sound setting was so loud for me even though it was just 5/10. The volume could also be adjusted in the monitor menu.
What I like about this monitor is that it's big enough for my needs and small enough to fit in my bag along with the CPU. It also has a sound output (like a TV) which is a wonderful surprise. You could also plug in a headphone if you need to. The monitor also comes with three types of cables and one micro USB to USB female adapter. The power adapter is also provided although I didn't include it in the picture. It's a multi-purpose monitor which you can use for gaming and/or productivity needs.
