There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
So far, I've been using it for priming and painting different models and styrene proto-types. I haven't had any issues other than my own user error.
Does it get hot? It's warm, but nothing that burns the skin.
Is it loud? My Fiancé says its loud and she can't hear the T.V. in the next room when the compressor is on, but I don't mind the volume.
Does it have a moisture filter? Nope, I was getting some moisture coming out on my first couple of airbrush sessions. I opened the manual and it said you need to get the Iwata-Medea Pistol Grip Moisture Filter, or a comparable product. After I got that product, it trapped all of the water that was splatting out (it also made the airbrush easier to hold). Maybe they can fit a small for factor moister/dirt filter on their V2.
Is it strong enough? Well, I feel like it could be stronger. I don't think it pushes more than 20PSI. There is no PSI gauge so I have zero idea about how many pounds per square inch are flowing out of that little guy. Maybe their product manager could add a gauge if they can fit it in the next version.
Good product and probably good for the hobbyist to add to the collection or someone that is on the go. As far as a product for a beginner, it may not be suitable as there is no PSI gauge or moisture filter which may add a steeper learning curve for someone just getting started.
See ya later.
