Lacey has produced a very informative, easy to read and understand guide into how anyone can achieve financial freedom and make money work for us instead of being a slave for the money. It sets the foundations of what people should consider with planning and building their Financial Independence fund. Borrowing a number of methods from the FIRE community (Financial Independence Retire Early), but making it more relatable to everyday life and not as mythical as FIRE can come across sometimes. I’m really only just getting started in building my FI fund, but as Lacey mentioned in the book it’s never too late to start!

Having drummed into my daughters since childhood the old adage that 'a man is not a financial plan' I was thrilled to be able to give them each a copy of Money School! What I love about this book is that it doesn't just explain the what, why and how of becoming financially independent but it makes doing so seem fun (unlike my lectures :)), as well as entirely achievable. Lacey seems totally relatable, and entirely non-judgey, making reading the book a pleasure rather than a guilt trip. Love it!
