Beautiful, smooth, quality spoon. Just the right size. I also ordered the beeswax/mineral oil treatment for maintaining this spoon from the same manufacturer. The spoon is the perfect size. It cost quite a bit more than regular wooden spoons, but you really do get what you pay for. I do not think I will have to ever replace this spoon.

Feels porous and rough. Not exactly the density I was expecting, which is probably just my incorrect expectations..

Also, not really a fan of the round all-around shape. Tapering the edges of the spoon from the back would look much better and make it a more useful tool. Again, my bad. Don’t expect anything different from the pictures.

EDIT:After a month (or two), I removed 1 star because I don’t like to use this spoon. I’ve two other go-to kitchen utensils that are much more used as they are less porous and have edges suitable to ‘reach’ into pans.
