King Arthur's unbleached white whole wheat flour is milled from hard white winter wheat - a lighter-colored grain than traditional red wheat - which yields milder-tasting baked goods. Substituting this flour for up to a third of the white flour in your favorite recipes gives you all of the nutrition and fiber of whole grains without compromising flavor.

The product arrived in a box. As usual, the driver left it on the front doorstep. I order a fair amount of food, and usually I get to bring the packages in before the local critters get to it.
The box was out for a while before I got around to bringing it in. After I brought it in, I noticed what seemed to be a gnawed hole. If it was from an animal, it was unclear if it happened before or after the package arrived.
But usually the food is packaged so tight, the animals don't get a whiff of it and so don't bother it.
I opened the box and discovered the flour bag had been wrapped in plastic. But both the plastic and paper bags had split open. It was a neat split along a long edge. Unlikely done by anything other than force, as it might have experienced being dropped. Unless the squirrels around here, or whatever may have got to it, have started carrying scissors.
Quite a bit of flour had spilled out from the bag into the box. I shook out a little more just to eliminate the remote possibility that what remained in the bag had come into contact with a rodent.
So I was able to save about half the bag.
Before the salvation effort, I chatted with someone at Amazon. She agreed to give a full refund. So I just ordered another bag. Assume it arrived fine, unless I update this review otherwise.

KAF is always my choice for flour, especially WWW flour. No bitter taste, but great texture and flavor for my WWW bread. I follow KAF’s online recipe for a bread machine recipe, using baking maple syrup and adding toasted sesame seeds. This was a good price at a time when I could find this flour nowhere else, even at KAF!
Two stars for being white whole wheat flour that tastes good. Minus onevstar for the package being broken with flour everywhere when it arrived. Not sure whose fault that is, but that's how it came!
I used to enjoy buying this product however, it seems like this company likes to jack the price of the without any notice or warning. I can't figure out why they would do that but I have phone alternatives to their flour and will continue to use that.
I like the benefits of whole wheat without the heavy texture and distinctive flavor of the more common red wheat whole wheat flour. I have been disappointed that I can no longer find this product in my local grocery stores. I am glad to get it from Amazon so I can continue making my favorite recipes with it.
Used this for baking, and especially when supplies of this product were short at local stores. Arrived quickly, in good packaging and quality - as always- was terrific.
This flour is so dam expensive and the product that was sent to me expires in 7 weeks. The package looks old and it seems that it has been sitting around somewhere. What is so special about this flour? I got it to try out a pancake recipe but it was so heavy cooked . I only made 1/2 the recipe, thank goodness, or else I would have had to throw it out. The rest of this gold prized flour will probably be used as regular all purpose flour.
