110v outlets are tight fit, USB ports work great

I put one in my home office (use every night, I just leave the USB wires plugged in for my iPhone and Apple Watch), and installed another in a shared area, but my wife doesn't like how tight the 110v plug is - she finds it hard to plug in her charger for the iPad, which is a FAST-CHARGE unit, so she doesn't want to use the USB charger for the iPad. Unit looks great, I had my handy-man install them when he was here so I didn't have to (but I could have). They fit nice and flush.

It took a week or so but customer service sent me a replacement a couple of weeks ago and I took the time this weekend to install it. No problems this time around. Was relatively simple. I’m not sure I love the design. It’s a little bulky and sticks out from the wall. You also have to pry the faceplate off rather than unscrew it which can be a little awkward

Technology is king in my household and as is such, so is the need for power and charging. There never seems to be enough ports to go around so this is helping me with that everyday battle.

This was super simple to install (I am NOT a qualified electrician or anything of the sort; I work in finance but I did lookup how to install outlets). This was as easy as the others that I've put in. Just make sure you have the following:

Flathead screwdriver & Philips head (probably won't need the Philips but just in case)

Wire cutters/strippers (might not need these either but just in case)

Multimeter (digital or analog) or Non-contact Voltage tester***This is very, very important! Even after you flip the breaker off, you need to make sure there is no power still

Patience

If you turn off the breaker, make sure there is no voltage, remove the old one and then follow the instructions, it should take you less than 20 minutes for sure. Less when you get used to doing this.

This went in easy and looks flush like the one it replaced. Some plugs work better than others with the USB ports but I use 2 items that don't have the ground part so it works perfectly for me.

This is really nice because a lot of items are now coming without a charger or power block so this helps alleviate that a bit.

I'll update if this malfunctions at all but for now, I love it!

Giving only 2 stars. Outlets work, USB ports work, but that's it. USB ports do not fast charge as advertised (only reason I bought 2). Using a single port to ensure the output is not split as many of these do, it still charges as fast as a legacy charger. Buy if you want a convienent usb power / outlet combo, do N8OT buy if your trying to gain fast usb charger ports to save outlet space for newer phones/tablets... uploaded the standard charge *this products usb port vs fast charge *factory charger screenshots.

**update... not able to use both ports at the same time. One port will disable until the other is free or cord removed.

No UL Sticker = No Installation

Good price, but when I got the box, I found one thing missing. A UL-listed tag. I'm not going to use anything electric in my house without an Underwriters Laboratory sticker on it. One thing to note with this design - the switchplate is built in. So if you are going to install in a multigang plate, this won't be a good choice. I found a similar unit at Amazon for the same price that is UL-listed, but this one is going back.

Works well charges fast but installing can be a bit tricky. The wireing of this outlet is small 3 points all on one end. This makes new work/ installation no real problem but if your replacing be sure you have a fair amount of slack wire at the outlet as you have to move it all to one end of the box. If you have a outlet in series and leads off both sides of the outlet that are short this one wont work. Leads screw in to tighten with a set screw not a push in some some others
