The tv came in perfect condition. Setup was easy. This is my first smart tv so I have nothing to compare. The picture quality is good. I rated it 4 stars. The overall rating is 5. It has several features that I like. Chromecast and AirPlay to name two.I do have some minor issues. I cannot turn on tv with lg app. I have to use the remote. I love this TV and I was really please with my experience purchasing with Amazon. The product was packed very securely. My husband was extremely nervous about buying a TV from amazon but even he was won over. The TV itself is very straightforward and easy to use. I think the colors and clarity are superb. The sound is much better than our VIZIO. All the apps we use are already on it. My only complaint would be that the stand is indeed very cheapy as almost all the reviews has noted and feels a bit unsteady but we plan to mount it eventually. Would recommend.

For this price range, you will have to compromise knowing that it's never going to match the image quality of another television that costs 50-100% more. The common complaint is poor blacks, but this is due to the design of the screen and there is no way to avoid it. Only with more money going to the television can more expensive technology be added. Overall, I'm happy with the image quality. There are enough options for fine-tuning the image further. If I wanted perfect image quality, then OLED is what I would have looked for. Audio quality is fine for television speakers; it's never going to be comparable to a soundbar or a full audio system. It's also light enough that one person can set it up successfully.

I do agree with the poor wireless reception, but connecting Ethernet solved the problem.

The WebOS is decent and has a majority of apps, but I feel it is more limited compared to Roku or Android TV. I use Plex most often and it's been great. On this particular television, WebOS is slower than I would like (including the Plex app), but for $300 I will live with it. The inclusion of the Magic Remote is great because it is so easily usable like a mouse cursor for selecting things. Google Chromecast support is unfortunately not included, but with the addition of a Chromecast device it'll work well.

LG is by far the 2nd best TV Brand you can get on the market. Best is Sony Class TV's. LG's have the best screens of any TV, which is why Sony uses their OLED panels for their displays.
The picture quality is Top Notch, like I said 2nd only to Sony. Dont be fooled by Samsung TV's because of how they market colors. They dont hold true definition and clarity.

Only knocking 1 Star because of a known audio sync issue with external sound devices. Sound starts before the video about 1/3 a second.

If you wish to save some money instead of going completely all out spending 2-3 times the money, get an LG. But if you have the money and want the best, get a Sony.

We had a breaker blow and it fried several appliances - despite our surge protectors. That's Florida for ya. We improvised on some, got lucky with friends on others, but I refused to settle for anything but a new smart TV after our Roku screen basically disintegrated. (Do not buy Roku btw, total disappointment even before this.) I spent several hours researching my purchase and settled on this LG. It's brilliant. I can do everything with the amazing remote - apps, Prime, Netflix, cable DVR, etc! Sound quality is so good we sold our soundbar. Picture is fantastic too. I imagine there are some televisions out there that are even better, but for the price and the quality, you cannot beat this one. I also splurged on the wall mounting/pro installation and the dude was super cool. I wouldn't change a thing.
