Set in the future where space mining is commonplace and even ducks can be heroes, Sums in Space is a chance to adventure into the far reaches of the universe and put your new math skills to the test.

sums in space game board, dice and pawns

Your Space Adventure Begins: It's Time To Learn to Add & Subtract

Deep in space, your team is on the hunt for the shiniest space crystals around. All of the sudden, a black hole has formed on the horizon and is breaking apart the planet. It's time to use your math skills to escape this planet and head back home.

Use the dice to improve your math skills by adding and subtracting 0-9 and get back to the ship as fast as you can.

Odds and evens on the board

Meet Friends To Help You On Your Mission: Learning Evens and Odds

Part of your team is here to help you get back to the ship quickly.

Meet: The Even Stevens Twins and your heroic leader Captain Odd Duck.

When you reach either one of these helpful spots, you get to roll a die one more time. Matching that space's objective (even or odds) will jump you forward, closer to the rocket ship and the finish.

During Cooperative Play: It's a Race Against Time!

When everyone is playing together to get all the astronauts back to the ship on time, it's a race against time to add and subtract your way to safety.

Every time you roll a 0, the rocket ship countdown ticks down one space, moving you closer to the possibility of blastoff.

Can you master addition and subtraction in time to get your crew out?

The Final Obstacle: The Black Hole

You're almost back to the ship, but first you have to get past the one thing that caused this whole catastrophe to begin with, the black hole.

Keep working and you'll always keep moving forward, but rolling 10 or higher let's you jump to lightspeed and escape the black hole to safety.

Only a few more steps and you're back to the ship.

A first grade math game to master the basics

Sums in Space helps you play while learning addition and subtraction, odds and evens, greater than less than as well as teamwork.

Letting your kid have fun while mastering the basic building blocks of math they can use for the rest of their life.

Fun, quality educational game for little space lovers!

Fun, quality educational game for little space lovers!
Our 6 year-old loves Space and was excited to play this game. It's very easy to get the hang of, the instructions are clear and simple, and the quality of the materials is excellent. The game is rather quick to play; the box says 15 to 25 minutes and that is definitely accurate. It's great for a child that has difficulty staying focused for too long. The board is a bit busy (in a good way, it's beautifully illustrated) and rolling often gets a little chaotic with any game so we used the box lid to roll in, made it much easier to see and organize the dice. I created a little chart about even and odd numbers on the box insert to keep with the game since he hadn't learned about those yet; might be nice to add something like that to the game. Overall it was fun to play and definitely helped him with practicing his addition and subtraction. We enjoyed playing with the 0 blastoff countdown timer. Very good educational game!
