    I have been using this mic for the past few months and am loving it! I am so thankful that I went for this instead of buying any other cheap generic mics that are available.

    I had been using a Generic mic previously. But now the switch to this has dramatically improved the audio quality of my YouTube videos.
    It is extremely easy to use and the battery life has been fantastic too!
    It picks up enough sound details and does need much editing in post.
    It picks up very little noise which can then be easily removed in Audacity or Adobe Audition.
    Sound quality is crispy and I simply can't explain how improved it is. I have my YouTube channel named 'The Reviewologists'. You should check it out to get a feel of the actual audio quality. I will upload a review soon so make sure you're subscribed!

    If you're hesitant about buying this over the Generic mics, go ahead with this one. You won't regret it!

    This mic is ideal if you won't to make youtube videos and for voice recording, but it may not be ideal for songs. Idoubt if it has noise cancellation, however, there is a big difference between noise and recorded voice, so the noise can be reduced using noise reduction . There is no need for amplification of the sound signal. I use this mic with desktop with the battery switch in on position. When you use it with a smartphone (the switch has to be kept off), the volume would be a bit lower, but it still is much better than cheaper alternatives.

    I purchased this microphone following a you tube review after doing a internet search.

    Its main purpose was to get better sound recording while filming (Sony zv1) out in the hills.
    Although the microphone on the Sony is excellent I was hoping to cut down on the sound of the breeze/wind.

    I have used the microphone on two separate walks in the lakes and have been impressed so far.

    As with most products there are some personal little niggles, which might not bother other users.

    1. The cable is extremely long which is great if your using it in a studio setting. But out and about you need good cable management.

    2. The microphone comes with a foam wind cover which comes off easily and makes the item look cheap. Buy the ‘dead cat covers’.

    3. The cable has a 3.5mm jack that plugs directly into your device. However, it requires a power source. This comes in the way of a small LR44 battery. That sits in a housing that also has an on/off switch. You need to remember to not only switch the microphone on but also off. As being left on drains the battery very quickly.

    4. While on the subject of the battery. It’s replacement is quite fiddly.

    5. The sound quality is excellent and you may have to play around with your microphone placement. It picked up my breathing while attached to my collar. This maybe just to do with adjusting the camera settings.

    Overall, As a novice user I am happy with the purchase and its performance.

    2. L’ALIMENTAZIONE

    La voce in ingresso ha quel boost garantito dalla batteria ma se si scarica e non ne hai una di ricambio sono guai o peggio ancora non ti accorgi che si è scaricata o addirittura ti dimentichi di accenderlo e non registri nulla. In quei casi le imprecazioni fuoriuscite dalla bocca potrebbero anche far variare l’inclinazione dell’asse terrestre.

    Per questo lo si ama e lo si odia.

    Con meno di €20 in confezione troviamo il lavalier con clip e filtro anti-pop, adattatore da 1/4, una batteria LR44 e pochette per trasportare il tutto.

    Non si può avere assolutamente niente di meglio a questo prezzo.

    Quindi il Boya BY-M1 nel 2022 si conferma ancora il giustiziere, della fascia entry level dei microfoni, “tagliando le capsule” di tutti i concorrenti.

    La voce in ingresso ha quel boost garantito dalla batteria ma se si scarica e non ne hai una di ricambio sono guai o peggio ancora non ti accorgi che si è scaricata o addirittura ti dimentichi di accenderlo e non registri nulla. In quei casi le imprecazioni fuoriuscite dalla bocca potrebbero anche far variare l’inclinazione dell’asse terrestre.

    Per questo lo si ama e lo si odia.

    Con meno di €20 in confezione troviamo il lavalier con clip e filtro anti-pop, adattatore da 1/4, una batteria LR44 e pochette per trasportare il tutto.

    Non si può avere assolutamente niente di meglio a questo prezzo.

    Quindi il Boya BY-M1 nel 2022 si conferma ancora il giustiziere, della fascia entry level dei microfoni, “tagliando le capsule” di tutti i concorrenti.

    Aunque no es un micro excepcional, es MUY BUENO! por su relación con el precio. Hice muchas investigaciones y vi muchos reviews de micros en internet (MUCHOS!!!), y desde luego este fue el que elegí por todos los comentarios. Y pues me ha sorprendido, desde su empaque externo (caja de marca -ver fotos-) hasta lo que contiene. Trae su bolsa de transporte negra, una pila para el condensador (que por cierto sólo se activa o enciende con las cámaras DSLR ya que en celulares no es necesario prenderlo y por lo tanto usar esa pila de reloj incluida), contiene además su clip para la ropa, una espuma negra para cubrir el micro, un cable larguísimo!!!!!!!!!! que es ideal para grabar desde MUY lejos (más de 6 metros), y un adaptador a otro tipo de jack (mas ancho). Ya lo usé para grabar video en mi smartphone Galaxy S8+ y funcionó a la primera, con buen nivel de cancelación de ruido y sin necesidad de activar ni configurar nada más. Muy buena relación precio / calidad.
