Anyway, about this kayak... We were a little skeptical at first, but it works well and you feel safe in it. It inflates super easily (kids like to help with it), is pretty stable in the water (kids feel safe), is easy for young kids to paddle (my daughter is 8 and paddled like a boss), is easy to break down (kids don't like the breakdown part as much, bc the fun is now over, but they still help if I ask them to...). Drying is fairly quick if you do a cursory job; if you want it to be totally dry, it can be hard to get the nooks and crannies under the protective coverings on the ends. Everything fits in the bag with room to spare. The bag itself is a little cumbersome to carry, but it's not that heavy, maybe 30-35lbs.
The seats are so-so, not particularly comfortable but not uncomfortable; the strap holding the back up is a little too low on the back, so it doesn't provide much support. Leg room isn't great for me (5'10), but roomy for my wife (5'0). With two adults, there is room for a little bit of stuff but not a lot.
Expect things to get wet when you kayak. If you don't, you'll get frustrated. If you do, everything will be fun.
All-in-all, this is perfect if you don't want to spend much money but want a functional and stable kayak and don't have much room for a solid kayak or aren't an avid kayaker enough to want to deal with a solid kayak.
A different model, the Intex Challenger K2, is also pretty cheap. It is "sportier", less balloon-y and more low-profile and narrow and kayak-shaped than the Explorer. I debated whether to get the Explorer or the Challenger. I have seen a bunch of both on the water and I'd say if you have small kids, the Explorer probably provides a little more stability and its wider berth and higher walls probably make kids feel a little safer. I have no regrets getting the Explorer. But if you prefer a sportier look, don't think that the Challenger isn't safe/stable enough for kayaking with a kid, we've seen plenty of parent+child in a Challenger. Originally, my plan was to get an Explorer and if my wife liked kayaking, I'd get a Challenger to go with it. But instead of two kayaks, we've decided to keep the one kayak and buy an Intex 4-person inflatable boat. We are very impressed with the brand and their products.

Calidad-precio insuperable.
