After looking far and wide for a modern faucet which was constructed of brass and under $300, this fit the bill. Arrived in great packaging, has substantial heft, and installation was fully easy. Came with long, flexible hoses, which went right into the water shutoffs so no need for adapters. No need for any specialized tools other than a Phillips screw driver. The hardest part in the whole process was removing the old faucet. The new faucet only took about fifteen minutes to install, and installs very securely with no wobbling at all.
Unlike some similar faucets, the handle for water does not tilt back, so if clearance from a back splash or wall is an issue and you want to install with the handle on the side, this faucet will install fine. Construction was all brass except for the head which feels like thick plastic, but the head secures not only by a counterweight, but also magnetically which gives you a satisfying "click" when it attaches. Positive "clicks" for switching between spray and stream, nicely hidden under the head. No more dangling faucet sprayers. Also, did I mention an impressive lifetime warranty?
At the $250ish price point, it is a great buy for a modern faucet built with good materials.
(9 months later) The faucet is still performing beautifully. The retraction of the head can be a bit slow a times, which may either be the lack of sufficient weight on the supply line or the numerous bags etc stuffed under the sink. The finish is still flawless after heavy use, and it still brings me joy every time I get to use it.
