I was apparently mistaken to assume this lantern was made in Germany by a 140 year old company with old world craftsmanship and quality! It looks stamped out of tin and molded. Not galvanized steel! The only instructions that came in the box I’ve included in photo. Backside is just as informative…in Chinese! My guess is the company Dietz, (which was American and bought by China) may be the same manufacture. Buyer beware!!

I recently received my new little Fueurhand 276 in a very cool silver color. Seems built decent, but the flame/brightness is NOT GOOD. My Dietz lanterns all seem to burn brighter. This one is so dull that it is hardly useable. Yes, I do know how to trim a wick for a lantern. Buy a Dietz instead and save a few bucks.
