Corrosion right out of the package. 😔

Corrosion right out of the package. 😔
Hard to tell in my photos but both E strings (the smallest strings) have micro-corrosion starting to develop right out of the sealed pack. EB does not individually seal their strings, just the full pack. I immediately noticed both E’s had a discoloration to them when putting them on. I went ahead and used them and they sound fine, but I doubt they will last as long as the others. This is common on non sealed strings but it’s the first time I’ve had it happen with sealed strings.I would still buy them again because I do like the tone and feel. May just be a fluke. So don’t let this discourage you from buying. They are a good deal, but I think EB needs to re design their packaging.
