Dirty, rich and sexy

Welcome back to Lisa's world of corporate high flyers, dirty deals and even dirtier relationships.

Mia and Grayson's relationship is complicated. Breakups and betrayals abound as our lovelies find their way back to each other.

I will say, I felt that the first 30% of the story went around in circles. I love you, you betrayed me, I hate you, I didn't lie - rinse, wash, rinse repeat. Mia and Grayson seemed to be caught in that loop.

And when it came round to it, was there any betrayal to begin with? Mia annoyed me with all her going on about that - but this could just be me.

I do love the spark and push/pull between Grayson and Mia, and through it all, I do want them to find their HEA, even when I want to slap their heads together and yell at them to snap out of it!

I did like them fighting to be together. Fighting those that are fighting against them. Giving a big middle finger to the world. I had to know what was happening next.

What I loved the most though was Grayson's friends. Oh, how I am impatient for their stories, especially Eric - hello, Navy SEAL.

Please don't make me wait too long, Ms Jones.

Grayson Bennett was the man Mia always loved and still does but he betrayed me and I caught him in his office with a naked woman. From that point I was done, we were to be married. I broke off the engagement and returned the ring, and went to work for his rivalry Ri. I wanted Grayson to hurt as much as I did but reality was I was in agony being away from him. The real reason I went to work for his rivalry is my father's business was in trouble and he owe money to some really bad men. Ri advance me the $50,000 I needed to pay off the debt for my father cause how could I go to the manI loved after I left him.

However, Ri has cross the line, he has always wanted to out do Grayson but I won't be his pawn anymore. I start looking for another job with the DA because I will not be in between these two powerful men anymore. Thats when I hear it, the DA is after Grayson and I can't know this without going to him and warning him. This is how I get trapped in Grayson Bennett web again. I pulled up at his house in the Hamptons to give him this information.

Grayson pulls up in his Porshe and locked eyes with me and I knew I would be in trouble, this is the only woman I have ever loved and she has come back to warn me and now I have to convince her to never leave me again while dealing with the threat that Ri my college rival has create.

I really love the Dirty Rich series and I read this instalment in a day as it had me so hooked. I like the interaction of characters between stories, the suspense that Lisa Renee Jones does so well and of course, who couldn't fall for the leading couple?

Dirty Rich Betrayal, in the main takes, place over a pretty short space of time, but it flashes back a lot over a two year period to when Mia started working for Bennett's and first met Grayson, through their relationship and subsequent break up. It was a bit before we discovered what the betrayal was and I was a little torn about how Mia reacted... I got where she was coming from but, for me, she could have at least tried to find out what was going on rather than jump to the conclusions she did - but, what it really showed was that although Gray & Mia thought they had the 'perfect' relationship, they were pretty much just like else and they both had failings and shortcomings that lead, in part, to them being separated. The question was, could they see and acknowledge these 'flaws' and address them so they could move forward and have a future together, if that was indeed what they both wanted.

The suspense/action part of the story gradually came together over the read, but it all seemed to be over rather quickly - but I was delighted that we got to catch up with a few of the guys from Walkers Security.

This pair were really good together. They still loved each other, neither had been able to really move on (though one of them had kinda tried, of a fashion!). The feelings, attraction and spark were all believable and I was rooting for them, especially when we found out what had happened a year past that had Mia running.

I'm looking forward to more in this series. Although it is book 4, I think you could easily read Dirty Rich Betrayal as a standalone and still really enjoy it.

Wow! I thought Dirty Rich Obsession was great. Dirty Rich Betrayal is on a whole other level. I could not get enough of Grayson and Mia's story! Everything they went through had me rooting for them to get to the bottom of what was happening to them and realize that what what happened was no fault of their own but orchestrated by Ri and the others he used to do his bidding. I loved who once Mia came to Grayson to explain what was happening; the two formed a united front and were able to admit they were stil madly in love with one another. The chemistry between Grayson and Mia can not be denied. They were so hot and steamy even when they each wrongly thought the other one may have gotten past what they had. This story line was captivating from the very beginning and had me at the edge of my seat wanting to know what would happen next. I can't wait to find out what will happen to them in book two of their story. Lisa has a way of writing a story that always amazes me and keeps me coming back! I look forward to more books by this fabulous writer.
