We had the Magna-Tiles brand of these for our first child when he was young (he's now 14) and have since gotten rid of them. This was one of the best deals I found - get the most tiles for the lowest price. (I don't understand why magnetic tiles have to cost so much.) We bought these in combination with another set because we wanted a good variety of sizes. The other set we bought has the hollow centers to each tile. Both sets work well together. My boys, ages 5 & 8 have loved playing with them. This was our first time trying them out. We had seen other kids with them and they looked fun. They entertain my children for long periods of time. I highly recommend this toy. We've had them for 6 months now and none of them have broken so they appear to be very sturdy.
