1) The screws on the pivot knobs are too short! I could not even install them without using vice grips to crush the rubber buffer a bit to engage the screw into the recessed nut. Even at that, I can only get maybe two turns at most into the nut now, with the short screw. An extra quarter inch of length on the screw would make this much easier and much safer. I feel like I have a really heavy fan head that is hanging on a barely threaded pivot.
2) Out of balance!! The thing shakes and on high, it even shakes the floor. How long is that going to last?? And with the short threads will it some apart. I read about some folks balancing the blades but seriously, is that something I should have to do?
It is sort of loud as described but it put out lots of air as promised and, I believe, you could not get this much air quietly.
Poor workmanship - unbalanced blades
Poor design - short screws - did anyone at the factory ever try and assemble one of these
Not "industrial"
Good airflow in proportion to noise.
Maybe I'll try and balance the blades because it is probably easier than sending it back.

Sidenote: While this fan is sturdy and easy to put together, I did find a con. I have a tile floor and where it was sitting was not "spot on level" so the fan literally sounding like a helicopter because it vibrated. Easy solution... I put a microfiber bath mat on underneath and wa-la fixed!
