5.0 out of 5 starsSlick Racing-Styled Office Chair for a Good Price

I was getting tired of sitting at my computer in a dining room chair, so I went shopping for a proper office chair. To preface the situation: I spend my working hours on my feet, so when I get home, I like to relax at my computer and game for a "healthy" amount of time each night. I spent a fair amount of time researching and finally made my choice: the Vertagear SL2000.
The assembly was pretty straightforward and I accomplished it solo in about 15-20 minutes, although, I would recommend having someone around to hold the backrest while you attach it to the base. The Allen wrenches, screws, and washers all come with the package and are bagged for those of you who don't like a scavenger hunt when you're trying to put together an office chair. The instructions are very simple and clear--they display all of the parts (and the names of each part), each step in the assembly, and what size screws/wrenches you need to use. There is also a video tutorial on their site but I didn't need to watch it, as the assembly is pretty basic.
Now onto the most important part: sitting! I'm going to get the "negative" out of the way first: I'm 6' 6" and the backrest should be about 2-3 inches taller for me to rest my head comfortably (I did go into purchasing this chair knowing that it wasn't built for a super tall guy, so I'm not holding it against them at all), the lumbar support is uncomfortable (maybe because I'm skinny and bony) but that can be removed, and the arm rests can't slide forward, only up and down (this isn't an issue to me as my arms generally just "float" anyway).
Onto the positives for this chair: it seems sturdy, the racing chair design is slick (probably a great themed chair for racing fans/steering wheel usage), the seat feels firm and not mushy at all, it adjusts/reclines well, and the price is good.
TL;DR: Great chair for people around 6' 3" and under, easy assembly, fair price, firm and supportive, durable, and looks cool!
