I was surprised how well this was made. Usually when you get build-a-furniture online the quality of the parts is lacking but I was pleasantly surprised, it looks good and very solid. The top and bottom pieces have extra thick cross members to reinforce the strength. All pieces are stained on every side so you don't have unsightly wood inside / out / upside down it even smells really good coming out of the box, that 'rich mahogany' scent.
A few things to be aware of, it comes with a litter 'catch' plastic box that has velcro sides, this is purely to catch excess off the sides of your litter box, not a very solid structure to hold a lot of litter, so expect to have to find a litter pan or something to put in there, I didn't see any on their website or anywhere that fit perfectly, so I'll measure it out and do some shopping. It also doesn't come with the filters to put in the back or the litter catch they show in the picture however you can buy those both pretty easily.
For the most part assembly was easy, there was a few pieces I had to rescrew in because the locks didnt catch but that was just me tightening them too much. The doors are adjustable so you can make them fit perfectly. It probably took me 45 mins to finish it. The packaging was very well protected and I didn't have a single scratch on the wood.
I am very happy with my purchase, I was hesitant to spend so much on essentially a cat bathroom, but it is great.

Lovely cat box
Love it,, cats do too. Only four stars cause I think for the price they could have been more particular on the finish being even around the corners and edges. It hinges on a quality you could find at Ashleys. Assembly was fairly straight forward as I have assembled similar items in the past. It can be tricky at times getting those cam locks to fit right. A couple screw pins needed to be backed out a little for the cams to lock in. It seems to go against your notion to tighten it down, but once its all assembled, it is solid. I could sit on it and not be afraid of it collapsing (A little tall for a bench though).There is no way I could have something similar built by my dad at this cost unless he wasn't going to charge me, lol. Still the materials alone would be about this much.Aligning the doors was time consuming once I found all the proper adjustment screws.Oh, the stickers! Good thing they were not anywhere visible or I would have called for a replacement part. I tried being very careful with my fingernail and still scratched the finish. The pictures are before I wiped it down (I still have not wiped it down lol)The drawer had a hairline crack on the back side. i'm sure I could have had it replaced, but upon examination, it was glued solid to another piece and didn't feel I would have any issues with it in the future. and I couldn't see it unless I looked closely to the back side of the drawer.There is a phone number to call for replacement parts inside the box. I have had replacement parts on other types of products and never had any issues in getting the damaged part replaced.I opted not for the filters, my experience is while my cats are doing their business, it still stinks, filter or not.
