I have a bunch of backpacks, messenger bags, sling bags, etc. Each one has a particular use-- I use one when I'm riding my motorcycle, another for work, yet another for hiking, etc.

I wanted to have a bottle of Purell on each bag. I'm not exactly a germaphobe but there are times when I touch something that's been pawed by a million other people (like a gas pump) and won't have a chance to wash my hands.

Wherever I am, I can disinfect my hands. It's not as good as washing with soap and water, but it's better than nothing and very convenient. If I'm feeling brave, I can also use the Purell to disinfect a cut. Stings like a mother, but beats an infection.

I like the scents too, though when these bottles are empty I'll probably end up refilling them from a 1-gallon hand sanitizer bottle. Convenient and inexpensive.
