Works for what we wanted

Works for what we wanted
It works for forts, tunnels and dinosaur prisons. The children figures out how to use it pretty fast. The only issue i have is that some of the green bars randomly pop out of the orange balls. Not sure if that is a user issue or not.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best fort building kit for a family fun and quiet time for mom!!!
Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2021
This kit is awesome!! As other reviews mentioned, you do need an adult to assemble it as the rods and joints fit together quite snuggly. But that wasn’t an issue for me. It just reassured me that it wouldn’t just fall apart on the kids as they play. We chose the “bunker” design for our first fort. It only took me about 25 mins to assemble that design. While assembling it did feel a little flimsy, however once it came together it did feel more sturdy. We used a few king sized flat sheets and some smaller blankets to cover the whole structure. I purchased some clips and battery operated lights as suggested and they all work out beautifully! The clips and even strong enough to hold an ipad up as a small tv for the fort! My daughter recently broke her arm at school and this has been a nice distraction and safe activity for her to still have some fun! We love it so much I am purchasing a second kit to make even larger forts!!! Definitely recommend to anyone tired of lugging furniture around and having your couches used up for a fort for the kids!!!! Love the little storage bag that comes with it too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not super sturdy but still a lot of fun.
Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2022
**update 1 year later* She’s still playing with this and loves it. Haven’t heard of anything breaking but she’s not a super roughhousing kid. I would definitely recommend this for most kids (not super rough players)**
Got this for a visit from my 4 year old niece. I wouldn’t expect a child under the age of probably 6-7 to be able to do this without safety/sturdiness concerns. I assembled a tall fort. The poles don’t fit into the spheres the best, and I’m unclear on why the spheres have specific orientation (arrows need to go UP). I believe I used reasonable force to insert the poles but they never felt secure (either didn’t insert far or felt easily removed). The poles definitely bend easily under a small amount of force but none broke so their flexibility is decent.
Generally I really enjoyed this but would advise caution based on the above observations. I wouldn’t expect this to last more than probably 10-15 builds. If allowing a child to assemble I wouldn’t be surprised if poles got broken. The structure was wobbly at best but held, though I did build mine tall to save my back so that’s a contributing factor.
For the price and fun its a good buy. $60 is definitely more than I wanted to spend but in the current market I suppose it’s a decent deal. Looking forward to seeing what else we can build. Appreciate the storage bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Versatile Toy!
Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2021
This product was a lot of fun for our winter days stuck inside. It allowed my kids to be creative and have their own unique space to play. It was too hard for my kids to put together by themselves (5 and 4) so assembly was 100% on me, but if you have older kids they may be able to do it by themselves. You will need a Large sheet like king or bigger or two to drape across. I did not have this and used blankets. I don’t recommend this because it adds too much weight. The instructions come with a lot of different ideas of things to make which is fun but you will need an adult or older kid to figure out each step. Overall it’s nice that you can build it, play, take it down and create something new. I do wish the instructions were more descriptive with each step, the wording was a little confusing. Overall I would say because of versatility and creative play it’s a 5 but for instructions and putting together I would say 4.
