Love, love, love this little pie plate! It's the perfect size for a mini pie. Yes, it's small, but that's the beauty of it! We love pie, but don't always want a standard 9". I found that I could use half a recipe for the crust, and for this particular pie, a little less than half for the filling. I made a caramel nut pie with chocolate in a graham cracker crust. It came out amazing! This was the perfect size for our family of four. I tend to like to make treats often, but with a normal size pie, it usually takes us a few days to eat it, which means no new treats, lol! Baking mini pies is great because we can eat the entire thing for dessert in one sitting. This is also great for smaller households (1-2 people), so you don't have to worry about eating pie for a week, not that there's anything wrong with that, lol! I'm thinking of getting another one because it would be nice to have a couple different mini pies for the upcoming holidays. I love that this is Anchor Hocking and that it's also dishwasher safe. I'm super happy I purchased this and highly recommend it.
