Our 85 pound French spaniel loves to chase squirrels, Coons, and other critters and will stand under the tree endlessly barking at them. I put the collar on him and he ran out the door and barked once, stopped and looked around confused. We no longer have a barking problem.

I highly recommend this no shock collar. I have an extremely vocal/reactive sassy little Frenchy… This is the only color that has worked for us. Do not bother trying the 2023 “new and improved “version… That one is horrible and I will be writing a review on that one, soon. Lol! Stick to this one… Charm and stops unwanted slash loud barking right away.

I purchased stopwoffer collar for my cockapoo. She barks at random noises, guests and when she’s excited to walk. Her bark is high pitched and hard to live with, stopwoffer collar worked part of the time but not all of the time. So I am now getting the remote and hope to have the success I’m seeking.

I tried it at home and tested it with the little bark recorder works fine. As I suspected when you use it in the field if another dog challenges my 5.5-month-old BRT he just ignores it. I see his head turn so it is working. I will be sending it back. Not sure what is next I've been training dogs, tough dogs, for 40 yrs. The tougher the dog the less chance this will work pain or annoyance just makes them fight through it. If you know anything about high pain tolerance this will not work. I've used it four times on the highest level he stops in the house but when I need him to stop outside he laughs at it. He will redirect and try and bite me through reflex. (normal) for most working males. I've dealt with so many tough dogs and hard dogs this pup is sweet and loves people and kids his instinct to play overrides the vibration. As he gets more and more testosterone this will become a problem hence trying to nip it here. He will be 140lbs easy and he is insanely powerful. Now it's play/prey drive soon it will be defense drive. We cannot allow it. On to older techniques. I also wanted this to work because my female is about as quiet as a church mouse she is 120lbs but she just ignores other dogs. BRT males can be unforgiving no matter the training skill level. I trained SCH3 dogs, protection, and Ring Sport dogs so I'm sure I'll find something to distract. Not this though...sadly-

Update: The sellers have now sent me 3 emails asking me to remove my review for a gift card. I wrote this review so that people can be aware of the potential issues before spending their money - so them wanting me to delete it instead of offering help or assistance doesn't well with me at all. Its important for a company to see the good and bad feedback so they can improve their product, not just pretend issues don't exist and trick people into thinking it has no issues.

Original: The collar works, but the probably is it picks up way too many other sounds. The product page says this shouldn't happen, but it does happen constantly - even on the lowest sensitivity setting. I have two dogs and the collar frequently picks up the other dog barking - even when he isn't even that close to the collar. It has also picked up sounds from the tv, music, and even the squeaking of toys or balls when my dog is playing with them, and even once picked up the neighbors dog! Just a moment ago I had the collar on the charger and my other dog barked from the hallway and I heard it go off on the counter in the kitchen.. This is not okay, I don't want my dog to be 'punished' for every sound around her as that is not effective and has only served to make her anxious. Unfortunately this was a gift so I won't be able to return in, but I will look for a remote collar instead in the future.

It worked perfectly on my 1 year-old golden doodle within a week but my super yappy schnauzer won’t react much to that. Though she is really stubborn by nature and is very difficult to be trained because of her character and breed. I contacted support specialist and they advised me a dog trainer who will consult me and help to train my dog! Hope we will solve that too!
