I am a firm believer that in dogs, as well as humans, diet controls health. I'm not talking just diabetes or high cholesterol, i'm talking cancer and other serious illnesses.
This food gives you piece of mind that your a good caretaker for your dog. Our prior dog got his food from the grocery store, cheap stuff. He barely made it to 9 years old and died of a brain tumor. I later learned his food was full of junk and horrible for him. I will never know if we contributed to his illness by choosing a cheap unhealthy food.
The good news is that if my husky pup gets sick, i'll have the piece of mind that I feed him the best. If you really think about it, this food cost a little more each bag but it saves you thousands in vet bills. Our husky is too healthy!! Lots of energy and always getting into trouble. Our guy loves this flavor over the bison puppy food. I find it pretty funny that a husky loves salmon dog food.
I got my in laws to feed their Pomeranian this food and he loves it aswell.
Only thing I must say is that it took our husky pup a good two weeks to get from soft to hard stool with this food. He was fine after that.
