I used this product for the proper ratio of omega 3,6 and nines. Shake the bottle real good because there is flaxseed sediment closer you get to the bottom. Then I simply turn the bottle over and squirt about a tablespoon directly in my mouth. Refrigerate the rest after each use.

We just completed our third annual re-seasoning of our Lodge cast iron skillet and large frying pan using the Barlean's flaxseed oil. The oil we bought 2 years ago started to smell 'off' so we purchased a new bottle for this year's 'event'.
Because of the smoke from the oil when heating the skillet and pan at high heat, we now do the heating outside on the propane grill. We repeat the seasoning 7 times and the finish lasts at least a year with usage 2-3 times/month.

The finish after seasoning is quite impressive and durable but quite a pain to get the previous year's seasoning off and the surface perfectly smooth before adding a new coating.
