But when Paige loses the job she loves, she must face her biggest challenge of all—striking out on her own.
Except launching her own events company is nothing compared to hiding her outrageous crush on Jake Romano—her brother’s best friend, New York’s most in-demand date, and the only man to break her heart. When Jake offers Paige’s fledgling company a big opportunity, their still-sizzling chemistry starts giving her sleepless nights. But can she convince the man who trusts no one to take a chance on forever?

I can definitely relate to Paige's never let them see you sweat and never ask for help mentality (I can also relate to this getting you into trouble). And I can relate to Jake's distrust of Love and relationships. The characters were likable and definitely worth rooting for. The writing was really well done and the book was a quick, easy, read. Plus the ending was hysterical.
Honestly, I really liked the whole friend group and cannot wait to read more about Frankie and Eva in the next two books.
I really fell in love with the characters in Sleepless in Manhattan. Each one had their own unique personality, like pigheaded, headstrong Paige, who would rather do anything else than have to admit she needs help, or worse, ask for it. Eva is happy go lucky, finding the silver lining in nearly every situation, while Frankie is the quintessential realist, never wanting to find herself indebted to anyone, especially not a man. There is a lot of focus on the relationship between Paige and Jake, the bad boy with the good heart, but paralleling that relationship is the one between the three women. A strong friendship, which was very complimentary to the story.
I enjoyed the hot and cold currents flowing between Paige and Jake. He’s someone Paige has known for many years, a man who she’d once proclaimed her love to, only to have him break her heart. If she could understand why he reacted the way he had, the purpose behind the wall he builds up between them, maybe that would change her mind. Maybe that would prevent the chemistry that is unmistakable.
There were moments of surprise, scenes I hadn’t anticipated. "Sleepless" built me up, and there was no let down, let me tell you. I was enraptured and detained by every detail, unable to put it down. I didn't want it to end, not until I knew where the road would lead for Paige, her friends, and Jake, too. Given how much I loved this book, I’m looking forward to reading the other two in the "From Manhattan with Love" series: Sunset in Central Park, and Miracle on 5th Avenue.
Sleepless in Manhattan, was a cute friends-to-lovers, rom-com. It was light-hearted and low on the angst scale.
Paige Walker spent her youth in and out of hospitals and under the watchful and protective eye of her family. As an adult, she was determined to prove she was capable of taking care of herself. She'd had one love, and that was her brother's best friend, Jake Romano.
Jake Romano was a highly successful businessman. An all-around nice guy, he was charming, protective and funny. He caused women to swoon and hearts to flutter. But his past taught him love wasn't forever.
I had a small issue with the length of the book. To me, there was too much internal dialogue and struggle, that at times, it felt like filler.
BUT
There were many things I loved about this book (aside from the story and main characters); the chapter headings, Eva and Frankie and the banter between Jake and Paige.
❝Honey, my ego is bulletproof. you couldn't take it down with a rocket launcher.❞
I enjoyed this author's voice. I am disappointed that I have not heard of Sarah Morgan before now. But this will definitely not be the last book I read from her.
Except launching her own events company is nothing compared to hiding her outrageous crush on Jake Romano—her brother's best friend, New York's most in-demand date, and the only man to break her heart. When Jake offers Paige's fledgling company a big chance, their still-sizzling chemistry starts giving her sleepless nights. But can she convince the man who trusts no one to take a chance on forever?
Over all I loved it,Great story, love the characters, looking forward to the next in this series.

I'm a sucker for second chance romances - who doesn't love to see the girl get the guy she's been crushing on since she was a teenager - and Sarah Morgan executed the second chance romance between Paige and Jake in such a beautiful way so that the trope feels refreshed. Paige is such a relatable character that I could read an entire series just focusing on her, and don't even get me started on how much I love Jake. He's one of my all-time favourite heroes.
Sleepless in Manhattan is one of my go-to re-read romance novels and I highly recommend it.
It was worth the hunger migraine.
To my surprise and horror, I saw that I had been approved for the first book in series, this title, and I had missed the download deadline. What's a starving addict to do?! I never could understand why heroin addicts eschewed all normal human needs for one more hit, until I got fully immersed in this series.
I bloody paid for it on Amazon. I'm not even embarrassed. This book was so lovely and the romance was wonderful. I'm in love with this trio of girls and their beautiful bond.
And their beautiful men. Hubba hubba.
I'm currently devastated that I was rejected for approval for the third instalment, and I have NO IDEA what I'll do, bar making a fake account and pretending to be Canadian so I can be approved.
Why are you treating your lovely insane fan this way? Very poor manners.
