当たり。【良】着脱方法【良】安定性

車２台持ちで、もう１台には他の車載ワイヤレス充電器を使っていましたが、本商品の使い勝手がよくて買い足しました。

一番の決め手は着脱方法です。
本商品は充電池で作動する機械式で、置くときは台座を奥に押して、外すときは左右下部のスイッチを押しますが、
これが意図しない挙動を防いでくれます。

もう一つ使っていたものはセンサー式でしたが、置いていないのに開閉を繰返したり、外すときに反応を全然してくれず無理やり外す羽目になったりしていました。
エンジンを切ると無理やり外すのが確定でしたし。（エンジン切る前に外せばいいのでしょうが、そこまで普段気にしてられない）

同じ仕組みの安いものもあるのでしょうが、そこそこ値段もすることもあるので、一度見つけた良い商品をリピになりました。

Xperia XZ3 SO-01Lを車内で充電するために購入。
ホールドの強さは街中を普通に走るくらいでは外れたりしたことは一度もない。
良いところ
　・上記スマホが充電できる。
　・吸盤で強力にくっつく。
　・ホルダーが360度回転可能かつある程度首振りが可能。
　・スマホを置いたら勝手にホールドする。

悪いところ
　・付属のケーブルが短い＆L字型ではないためダッシュボードの形状次第では位置を下げられない。
　・Xperiaだとアームを加工しないと電源ボタンを押す。
　　※加工といってもクッション用スポンジを貼ってボタンを避けただけです。
　・炎天下に置いてたら吸盤？が外れた。(追記 2019/04/23)

開閉機能は満足に動作します。
ただ、人によっては開閉の駆動音が気になる方もいるかも？というくらいには予想外に音が出ます。
私は車のダッシュボードに貼り付けていますが、今のところ走行中にも停車中にも取れたことはありません。
無線充電の機能もセールスポイントの一つのようですが、あまり期待はしない方が良いかもしれません。
既に持っていたワイヤレス充電器も充電機能はあまり良く無かったので期待はしていませんでしたが、この商品も画面オフにして充電してやっと少しずつ充電できる程度で、ナビなどを作動させながらだと充電の減りを軽減するくらいの効果しかありませんでした。
参考までに、使用機種はiPhone XRです。
充電機能はイマイチでしたが、総合的な満足度で言うといい買い物をしたと思います。

車内に取り付けスマホを載せるだけで充電できるのでとても手軽で、驚いたのはタッチセンサー機能があることです。

スマホを近付けるとアームが自動で開きスマホをホールドしてくれました。

片手でパッとスマホを設置できるのでこの機能は便利です！

ケースをつけたまま充電できるのも良いですし充電器は360°回転できるので縦でも横でも見たい角度で使うことができます。

あとは夏の暑い時期でも車内で耐えてくれるかどうかが少し心配ではありますが、今のところ便利で活躍してくれています。

充電力が弱過ぎる

iPhoneXS MAXに使用。車のダッシュボード上に設置しています。
公式レザーケースを使用していますが、充電は問題なくできています。
Qiの規格に詳しくないのですが、充電速度はかなり緩やかです。ナビ等
利用しながらの充電だとほとんど充電されません。充電する為というより
バッテリーを減らさず維持できるものと考えた方が良さそうです。
充電中は青いLEDが点滅します。これは薄く光るぐらいでよかったのにと
感じます。気にしてしまうとちょっとうざいです。
自動開閉機能はエンジンを切って電源供給していない状態でも内蔵バッテリーで
作動します。数年使用してバッテリーがへたった時にどうなるか心配ではあります。
開くボタンが若干押しづらくあり、電源供給が切れた時点で自動で開く設定があれば
便利だったように思います。設置についてですが重いスマホでアームを最長に伸ばした
状態で振動が多い山道を走った際に粘着部分が剥がれる事がありました。過酷な使用を
想定した場合、劣化により使えなくなる状況も考えられます。首元の角度調整や回転について
思ったほど自由がききません。回転については固定を緩めなければならないため、気軽に
縦横に変えられません。ピボット機能があれば良かったです。

総合して価格相応に使える製品であると思います。

追記
1ヶ月ほど使用したところ、角度調整がへたれてネジをキツく締めても
スマホを置くとゴトンと下に倒れてしまう事象が発生しました。
車内が暑く高温であったという状況も関係していると思います。
アームの長さを短くすればなんとか固定できそうな状態です。
やはり大型のスマホ＋アームの長さをMAXという使用状況であると
耐えきれないようです。

やはり充電速度が遅過ぎますね
充電状態にはなりますがバッテリーが減っていくという…まともに使えてる方いますか？

私の質問内容は。スマホをセットした状態でエンジンを切り、豚かけたときにアームが自動的に開くかどうか、でした。教えていただいた通り、エンジンを、かけてもアームは開かず、ボタン操作で開きました。少し前に買ったものがエンジンをかけると勝手に開きスマホが落ちてしまうものだったので使わなくなりました。こちらを購入して良かったです。

エアコン吹き出し口での使用となりましたがホールド感はバッチリです。
ホールドの開閉もとてもスムーズです。
ワイヤレス充電の為、スマホを取る時に充電コードを差したままひっかけてしまう事もありません。
非常に良くできた商品です。

Update:
Just wanted to post an update since I've used this mount for 10 months now. It's still fully functional and working great. It still charges my phone well and everything mechanical is still working as it should. I use the mount several times a day as I get in and out of my car and it's never let me down. You won't be disappointed.

I've owned quite a few car mounts and this one is by far my favorite. The only issue I've had is when I leave my car in the sun for a bit it struggles to charge my phone but I route one of my AC vents at it and it cools off quickly. I've also experienced this with other chargers so I expected it. The suction is strong and holds up to the sun and the arm seems quite durable. The holder itself is where this shines. There are physical buttons to release the phone that work well which is different from some models where it's sensor that can be prey to accidental touches. The phone clasps hold the phone securely and it's nice that the arms close automatically so getting my phone in straight works every time. I can have my Samsung Note 10 plus' screen on and the charging keeps up. Over all a strong mount that feels like it will last a long time.

Update:
On a hunch, I swapped out the mini-USB cord that came with the charger and used the following:

It works perfect now. So, for those who had bad results with this charger, you might consider changing the cable, it has made this product work well for me, can use Waze while driving and it will charge my Iphone X no problem.

I have purchased two of these wireless chargers for my cars. Some good qualities, but the one thing it should do it does not.

Pro's:
- The motorized holder holds my iPhone X well and is very convenient to load and unload. I like this feature very much.
- The suction cup mount to my windshield holds very well. Due to the length of my dash and slope of windshield, it bounces a little when I go over bumps, but this is really a materials and physics issue rather than a design issue.
- Battery backup for motorized holder works well and releases even without power, this helps if your car sits for a while.
-Updated to include Support as a good guy as they have offered to work with me to get a new design unit when available. Standing by their product is important and worthy to update the rating.

Con's
- Wireless charging does not work well. As an example, each morning I drive 30 minutes, if I start with 100% charge and only use Waze, the battery depletes from 100% down to 87%, with display brightness turned down. I can understand that it may not charge fast, but in this case, it is not even maintaining charge. I am not sure if my units are defective or is the design is poor or poor quality.
- Customer Service: This is a mixed bag, I sent email to support and got timely response, they did a nice job of first telling me things to try (set the height correctly and make sure your charger is QC 3.0 capable) but I had already made sure I had things set properly and was using a good quality QC 3.0 charger. The last email exchange tried to tell me that you could not compare an automotive wireless charger to a home one (I disagree given the input source is still QC 3.0 in both sources.) I have great things to say about the Seneo desktop wireless chargers.)

I really wish the charging would maintain or even slowly charge my phone while driving with Waze running, I like this charger otherwise.

Stay tuned, will review new unit as soon as available.

The wireless car charger functions very well, but I had a problem with quality of some of the parts. The adjustable plastic foot on the bottom would not stay in place - something inside the unit was broken, so it would just fall to the bottom position anytime a phone was placed in the device. I contacted Andobil support, and they promptly sent a completely new unit. Next, I overtightened the vent clamp and broke it. Again, I contacted support and was immediately sent not one but two vent clamp replacements - one screw-type and one pressure clamping type. All replacements were provided at no additional cost to me. The only other issue I had with the device was the power cord falling out, as has been mentioned in other reviews. I tried bending the receptacle but gave up on that for fear I'd damage it. My solution that has worked well is to simply 'anchor' the power cord to the device with a rubber band.

The charger works well, faint red and blue lighting provide good feedback as to what the charger is or is not doing - although those are hard to see in bright daylight. My Galaxy S10 positioned on my dashboard tends to overheat and alternately pause/start charging during hot summer days which is annoying but attributable to the phone. I have an Otterbox Defender series screenless case which doesn't seem to inhibit wireless charging with this device. Sometimes it does fast charging and sometimes not, but I see that with other chargers.

All-in-all, this Andobil is a good option for wireless charging.

UPDATE: Seller reached out to me and sent me another wireless charger. The charger they sent this time was not the same with the automatic closure. The one I received was one that closes with gravity and weight when you put the phone in it. This one actually works quite well. I bought another wireless automatic charger for myself the works perfectly and phenomenally, but I have the one this seller sent me hooked up on an air vent for my wife to use and it works the way you'd expect it to. The brand of automatic wireless charger I bought escapes me, but it was about $10 less than the one I bought from andobil and works extremely well. But if you want a charger from andobil, just buy the cheaper gravity based one they sent me as a replacement.

I had a wireless charger in my vehicle for years and decided it was time to upgrade. Initially this one looked nice, had decent reviews and I really liked the automatic gripping feature. Got it in the car and thought it looked great, but did not use it till the next day. Now after nearly a week of trying to use it, I am going to have to send it back and try a different product. First thing the morning after installing it, the automatic grips would not close around the phone. They tried, made a whirring noise and then opened the millimeter it had closed, back open. Tried a little later in the drive and it worked. I decided that had to be due to it being cold that morning and thought while annoying, it was something I could live with. Next I started noticing that even though I bought the Andobil branded Quick Charger Car Outlet Plug, and even though my phone claimed to be quick charging, it seemed to charge incredibly slow. When it did close correctly and charge somewhat, my screen will light up saying charging paused about every 5 minutes. Today I left it on with the phone screen off and not in use while I ate lunch in my car. After 15% of claiming to be charging, my battery percentage did not increase by even a single percentage point. Nothing except an indicator claiming it was charging on my Galaxy S8 Plus. Then out of nowhere, it started popping up saying charging paused, charging paused, charging paused while flickering my screen on and off without going away. I tried to capture it on my video recording, but it did not capture the message as it was a system level notification. Now I was in my car and the temperature is 54 degrees, so I cannot imagine the temperature could be impacting the charging capabilities of this "charger" in any way. This device may actually be the worst quality device that I have ever purchased on Amazon.

This product was easy to install on my Older Lexus RX330. It holds my iPhone 12 Pro Max perfectly with how it adjusts to the phones height. I attached mine to the dash and it doesn’t move. Also, I love how it can turn from vertical to horizontal very easily. The automatic grip to the stand is fantastic and quick to release the phone. With as heavy as my phone is, the mount works perfectly. However I do have one problem, it blinks red a lot and doesn’t want to charge my phone sometimes. I’ve noticed it on really cold days. I’ll unplug and plug it back in and still the same thing. I’ll check every bit of wire to make sure and still the red blinking. It may be a defect in the one I have, but the design and quality of this product is really good. Best I’ve ever used.
