Excellent Study Resource
GPTS shipped it promptly and it arrived in beautiful condition - it is a valuable resource to study the Westminster Standards and compare the confession to the catechisms with one “birds eye” view. The pages are excellent in layout - type might be bigger but it should still be ok. I look forward to using it!It should also be useful for people wanting to regularly read through the standards in their own devotions. Certainly pastors and elders sworn to uphold the standards should find it useful for constantly reading and studying these documents.

On a page about the size of notebook paper, the confession and catechisms are displayed in adjacent columns. The downside is that the print is very small. However, since the catechisms aren't as thorough as the confession, there is a lot of white space on each page. Scripture proofs for each are shown in footnotes for each column. The organization is based on the confession, then with the comparable portions of each catechism listed next to it. This edition is of the Standards as they were originally published in 1646, before the amendments made in 1789 to reflect the change in circumstances in the newly-independent American States. That would also be prior to the amendments which have been made by the various Presbyterian denominations.
