It's a good starting place for personal finance. It is mean tot go with some of his other learning material but I just read it without the other material. Keep in mind that this is general advice for people just learning about (or even trying to fix) their personal finance. A few people criticize some of the advice as being too basic but they are ignoring who the book is intended for. The book does cover investing briefly. I would suggest going out and reading a second book that focuses on investing from cd's to ETF's / mutual funds to more 'advanced' stuff like individual stocks or alternative options.
