Let me tell you how I prepare this which is FANTASTIC in the summer - I take an old pasta sauce jar (with the lid). Fill it with ice and water. put a couple scoops of this stuff in there (black cherry) and shake shake shake. What you get is a cool and genuinely pleasant to drink concoction (literally could be sold as an energy drink) that is refreshing.
I find the drink to be very relaxing similar to how a nice cold beer may relax you, but of course this is not intoxicating so you get the upsides without the downsides. On top of that, you can mix in other things, for example I mix in the fairly bitter "longjack" powder (also sold on amazon), which is not noticable in the mix. For powder based health mixes, I highly recommend beet root w/ cherry as a fantastic base, and recommend you use this nice shake method to prepare (avoids the whole mess of stirring, avoids the whole mess of cleaning a blender, etc, very simple)

Normally this is a great product, but I think Amazon let a vendor in that sold a counterfeit product
I've purchased several of these, and they were always dark red in color, and when mixed, were fairly dark. The powder in the container was pink, and when mixed tasted very watered down.Unless this is a really old container, it's a "watered down" counterfeit copy.I like the product, but it's too dang expensive to buy if you're going to get a counterfeit product every third purchase.

Unless this is a really old container, it's a "watered down" counterfeit copy.
