Overpriced and worst product quality i have had for this price. It was snowing that day, i got out with the pavlok. I got into a uber to realize that the shcok clock in the band is missing. There is no locking mechanism to hold it.

CONNECTION WITH iPHONE BREAKS CONTINUALLY - MISLEADING SUPPORT

I purchased my Pavlok 1 in July 2017 and Amazon delivered the following day, which great! Although the item came in a nice-looking box, I have to say that I had issues with it from the get-go.

Pavlok state that the battery lasts for about 4 days but that is totally not the case, as even if I don't apply the 'shock' much during the day - the longest that the charge lasts for is only a maximum of 15 - 18 hours at best. As the battery begins depleting, the connection with my iPhone breaks. Even with a full charge, I only have to walk literally about 6 feet away from my iPhone, while wearing it - and the connection breaks. This was and has been constant from day one!

I returned the first one and got another one sent quickly from Amazon but the issues were exactly the same as the first.

Unfortunately, I found Pavlok's support to not only be lacking but very misleading as well.

I have several watch/wrist-type gadgets (all bought from Amazon) but the rubber strap is the worst I've ever come across and its feels SO uncomfortable that during the night it gets so bad that I have to literally rip it off as quick as possible, as it feels like I'm suffocating. It feels almost claustrophobic - much like what it might feel like to wear a straight jacket - not that I've ever wore one. I know that sounds crazy but it's the only way that I can describe it.

When I've ripped it off, I feel as though I can breath and feel as though I've been UNTIED. It's something about the rubber strap material.

I found that it was necessary to alternate wearing it on the other wrist EVERY A DAY, as the shock from it actually damages my skin and creates small pin-type red holes, that itch like mad. It makes me scratch the area and gets very sore. The damaged area normally takes about 3 days to settle - during this time, I am unable to use it on that side of my wrist for several days.

Also, no sooner than I purchased it and registered it with Pavlok, Pavlok repeatedly spam my inbox about 4 times a week attempting to sell me a Pavlok 2 WHICH ISN'T EVEN ON THE MARKET YET.

So, within a few weeks of getting these offers stating that there were many improvements on the Pavlok 2 (which was currently being designed) they persuaded me to be a part of their crowdfunding and so I paid them £135.00 and was told I'd get it by September 2017.

It's now December 15th and I still have not received it after contacting them repeatedly week in and week out since September. It doesn't look like I'm ever going to get either as Maneesh Sethi (Pavlok's owner) has a new and different excuse EVERY time.

Apparently, they have a 'No Refund' policy either for their crowdfunding (that isn't something I was made aware of before parting with my money).

I have to say that I have not had a very good experience with the Pavlok wristband or Pavlok themselves and won't ever deal with Pavlok again.

I have to make this clear, that it has nothing to do with Amazon in any way - it is totally to do with Pavlok.

To sum up, I personally wouldn't recommend a Pavlov wristband as I haven't had much (if any) success with it, as far a habit changing goes. Using a rubber band is just as (if not more) effective and much less cheaper with no complications.

Très efficace (pour arrêter de fumer pour ma part) j’ai retiré une étoile juste parce qu’il faut appuyer sur le’ bracelet pour recevoir une décharger (la détection de mouvement ne déclenchant qu’une décharge).

I came across this at a time when I was feeling very low in my life, having tried everything in my power to overcome my habit without any success and always having the feeling that I cant do what I tell myself I will do. This product is literally heaven sent for me!!

I have been able to quit my habit and now I can confidently say to myself that I can do anything I put my mind to (with help from science)!

I did not use the alarm function of this device and almost all of its use for me was with manual zapping. I think the alarm function needs some rework (I tried it only twice and it worked just once) and I gave my rating for the app on the play store.

Just to put it out, I was 110% committed to quitting my bad habit before I even wore it - this device just took the burden off my will-power and associated the uncomfortable, unwanted feeling of being zapped with my bad-habit. Before I knew it, I just lost the cravings!!! And that to me was amazing - just imagine you fighting your bad habit with your will-power all the time and then suddenly, your brain just looses the cravings for that habit because of zapping! Heavenly interference?

I can already imagine folks out there (nail-biters, hair-pullers, smokers, alcoholics, angry people etc) whose life can change for better with this device.

Having said that though, this device will not work for those who are less than 100% committed to breaking their habits.

One thing they can improve on is the quality of the band - I am already seeing some wear & tear on the band and its not as cool-looking as it can be. I also wish they did better on Shark Tank. This device has the potential to change lives and I just wish it gets the attention that it deserves.

I plan to gift one of these to my friends who is a chain smoker. If he is committed to breaking his habit of smoking as he says he is and if he follows up as I did on my bad habit with the help of this device, then he can perhaps add months to his life, if not years and will probably save him from thousandths of dollars on health care. What better rate of investment than this?
