This coat is very warm. I live in Iowa, it’s so bitterly cold here. This coat is a nice, longer length. I’m 5’8, 139#, 36DDD, I usually wear Medium or Large in tops, I ordered a Large. It’s slightly snug across my chest but not uncomfortable. It fits like a Medium/Large. I like the color. I got the navy blue color. It looks classic. I don’t love the fur on the hood but it’s not terrible. I think it will last for many years.

Color:
Many jackets displayed on the market are simply offered in only two colors. Worry no more – this jacket is not only offered in more than two colors, but is offered in a total of eight colors! If you’re feeling bold and radiant, there’s a dark crimson (red) or if you’re a more settle individual; midnight navy would do wonders for your taste! You could even buy a jacket to match with your school colors!

Quality:
This jacket isn’t your typical jacket. Although these jackets are priced at about $218, the quality makes the price worth it. Most jacket designers don’t keep your hands in mind when creating a jacket even though that’s usually one of the colder parts of our body when outside. Taken this into consideration, the Marmot jacket has micro fleeced lined zip hand-warmer pockets. This may seem as a very small detail, but a very convenient and useful detail. Effectiveness:
The effectiveness of this jacket is what made me fall in love with this jacket. Down insulation is much warmer than the typical synthetic jacket. Down usually lasts longer, and not to mention the feathers help with breathability. On average a synthetic jacket will lose it’s effectiveness in 5-7 years, whereas a down jacket can retain it’s warmth for up to 10-20 years (Wellman, 2016).

I would recommend this jacket to anyone wanting a forever lasting jacket – a jacket that will keep them warm through all the unbearable winter months. Marmot makes their competitors wish they had the same color options, the warming quality, and the effectiveness of the down feathers.

I bought the medium, which should have been appropriate, but it is so tight across the chest and shoulders, even with a thin cotton tee underneath, I couldn't raise my arms to drive the car. So far I have worn it in temps in the 20's Farenheit and damp. It kept me quite warm. It has a fuzzy lining on the mid to upper torso portions than seems to make thaose parts of the coat extra warm. Zipper goes together easily when zipping, which is not always the case for jackets I hve owned.

Sembra troppo morbido, troppo leggero, troppo soffice, viene il dubbio che non sia adatto a giornate fredde, invece è la qualità del tessuto e delle cuciture che lo rendono soffice. Veste bene addosso e non "infagotta", la linea di disegno sul tessuto è molto carina da vedere, lo trovo casual-elegante. Color nero bello. Cappuccio più piccolo rispetto a quelli di altri giubbotti, ma il motivo forse è che veste giusto addosso alla testa, e anche se c'è vento, non si sposta. Nella zona collo si chiude alto, interno è morbido, anche se mi dimentico la sciarpa tiene caldo sul collo. Anche nella zona interna dei polsi e del petto/schiena c'è un pile nero morbido che tiene caldo.
Provato con un po' di pioggia tiene bene, non saprei dire in caso di pioggia forte o neve se tiene lo stesso. Lunghezza maniche e lunghezza corpo va bene, arriva a mezza coscia, come lo volevo per poter coprire abbastanza dal freddo la zona pancia ma al tempo stesso poter camminare senza un ingombro eccessivo sulle gambe.
Imbottitura in vera piuma d'oca (all'inizio qualche piuma scappava dalle cuciture). Le tasche sono comode, profonde e con interno in tessuto che resta caldo a contatto con il corpo, quindi le mani restano calde anche senza guanti. Ci sono due tasche davanti e una tasca interna sul petto, tutte e tre le tasche hanno le cerniere. Si può andare via senza borsa, c'è posto per cellulare portafoglio ecc lo stesso. Non mi è chiaro se l'inserto di pelliccia sul cappuccio sia vera o sintetica/ecologica. Usato per passeggiate anche in giornate di vento a pochi gradi, tiene caldo. Sono magra alta 1,65 e ho preso una taglia M, con maglione grosso sotto ci sto bene, veste giusto.
Qualità ottima, a questo prezzo si comprano giubbotti completamente sintetici, io ne volevo uno con imbottitura in piuma d'oca, acquisto consigliato.
Allego foto giubbotto e delle etichette interne per capire la composizione (imbottitura è comunque 85% piuma).

El abrigo es de calidad, muy buen plumón puesto que abriga bastante. A finales de diciembre lo llevé a Berlín y Edimburgo con solo una camiseta térmica abajo y estuve muy calentita. La clave es que lleves pocas capas para que el plumón absorba el calor corporal y te mantenga la temperatura ideal. La capucha es grande, tal y como yo la quería. Repele el agua de lluvia (siempre estuvo lluviendo), pero debes saber que no es una prenda del todo impermeable. Usé paraguas en muchas ocasiones para proteger el abrigo (y protegerme yo también), en otras no. Dicho de otro modo, con lluvia moderada el plumón no pierde su capacidad de recuperación del volumen (CUIN 700). No creo que sirva para temperaturas más extremas, por ejemplo -5 o -10ºC pero sí para temperaturas europeas en un invierno "normal".
En rusumen, buena prenda para estar abrigada, aun sabiendo que no es del todo impermeable. Si quieres una prenda impermeable debes comprar otra diferente, y si quieres que además abrige como esta o más, debes gastarte más dinero. Le doy 5* porque es justo lo que buscaba. No voy a ir al Ártico ni mucho menos con ella, pero para el centro o norte de Europa es excelente.
